“This is our go to Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is pretty good, much better if you compare it to other Chinese places in the area. Prices are fair. The crab Rangoon has very little crab in it so we don't bother getting it unless they add some in free for the wait. Service is usually pretty quick and after ordering dozens of times they have never gotten our order wrong once.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, and even more options that can be made vegetarian on request.

Parking: The parking lot here is the biggest gripe we have. It's small for the ammount of shops in the plaza, and it's set up extremely disorderly. Parking lot is fairly clean but not well maintained.

Kid-friendliness: Generally a take out place but there is seating and it would be generally kids fridnly.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible by wheelchair.“

I’ll start there, and yes I know it looks rough on the outside but the food is really good. There are several Asian restaurants in the area, but I was genuinely surprised how good the food was. They take pride in their food, totally makes up for the aesthetics. I definitely recommend them to you to try.“

We had the eggdrop soup - think and flavorful; the sweet and sour shrimp - the sauce is wonderful with hints of pineapple and orange peel; and the wonton special was tasty and packed with vegetables. As a local small business, we truly value supporting places that deliver consistent quality and care, and New Kings Chef has been one of our absolute favorites for over 10 years. We’ve lived in the area for more than a decade, and Kings Chef has never once disappointed us.

Our most recent order included the pepper steak, sesame chicken, and wonton soup, and everything was excellent. The pepper steak had perfectly tender slices of beef with crisp, fresh vegetables, while the sesame chicken had that ideal balance of sweetness and crunch that makes it a true comfort dish. The wonton soup was warm and satisfying, and exactly what we were hoping for.

We were excited to see that Kings Chef now has an online ordering system. It’s new, but very easy to use, and made the entire process quick and convenient. As a bonus, we received six complimentary pieces of crab rangoon with our order, which were golden, crispy, and filled just right. A great surprise that added to the experience.

Kings Chef continues to be a dependable go-to for us, and we look forward to ordering again soon.

“We checked this spot out recently. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We got egg rolls, drunken noodles and sweet and sour chicken. It was all fresh and yummy. The drunken noodles had fantastic wok hay. Can’t wait to work through the menu. The food was ready super quickly and made to order. A hidden gem of Oregon. The staff were also very helpful and attentive and answered all of my questions.“

“Stopped in for lunch, we were very glad we did, the wonton soup is great, you also get egg roll and a chicken wing with the dinner, the egg roll was good, love the sweet sauce for it, the chicken wing was hot and crispy, my wife got the crab rangoon which were light and crispy with great flavor, my dinner was the almond boneless chicken which tasted great, love the sauce that comes on it, my wife got the sweet and sour chicken, she also really liked her meal, overall this is a great place to eat, we enjoyed it and will be back.“

“Was expecting a regular restaurant, but it's more of a carry-out place. They have a few tables, but most of the people carry out. Having said that, the General Tao chicken was awesome. The right amount of heat, and the combo portion size was perfect. Enough for supper, and a little left over for lunch the next day. Service couldn't have been better, they are really nice. “I was pleasantly surprised by my meal at Flower Drum! I’ve driven past this place almost daily but never stopped in until a friend recommended it. I usually go for General Tso’s Chicken, but after reading some reviews, I decided to try the Flower Drum Chicken Dinner Special—and I’m so glad I did.

The portion size was impressive! For $12.99, I got a generous serving of chicken, rice, broccoli, and an egg roll. I’ve ordered specials from other places before, and it always feels like you’re getting less food for the lower price, but that wasn’t the case here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.

Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be recommending Flower Drum to others. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!“

“The egg rolls and crab Rangoons never disappoint with the sweet and sour sauce on the side ? but was disappointing was the pick 2 for 7.99. Pick 2 = 1 small portion plate. My daughter got the general tso chicken, about 6 pieces of chicken and chicken fried rice, about 6 tablespoon full of rice and chicken, all in one container, I was looking for another container and she said, "that's it." Wowsers.

Parking: It was plenty of parking around the building in their parking lot.“
