Paesano's Pizza Reviews
Delicious classic parlor pizza! As a pizza lover of all the types New York. New Haven, Detroit, Chicago, etc... I also have a love for the small mom and pop shops who serve up memories with a classic parlor slice. This is probably my favorite pizza in Traverse City. Inclusive to the community. Generous!

Asked for extra sauce well done, unfortunately got lots of cheese and seemingly regular sauce. Not too bad overall, but nothing special. Business as usual service.
Food was great. Service was above par. Atmosphere had an old school feeling which added to the Italian style ambiance. Overall I enjoyed the restaurant. The only downfall was the higher prices. You do pay for quality so I wasn't too heart broken as portions were large as well. Over all......Solid A.

Paesano’s Pizza offers a mixed dining experience. The pizza is described as a little better than good, with some customers stating it is among the best they have had in a long time. While the prices are considered very expensive compared to other local pizza options, the restaurant is praised for its delicious specialty pizzas, including the barbecue chicken and the highly praised white pizza. The crust has been singled out as the absolute best, with a nice yeast smell and flavor that keeps customers returning. The selection of craft beers also adds to the appeal.
However, service has been noted as a concern, with slow and unfriendly staff and inconsistent lunch hours. Despite this, many customers appreciate the old-school atmosphere, with a comfortable interior that feels like the pizza shops from the past. The pizza is described as amazing, and the breadsticks are considered giant and a meal in themselves, with customers surprised by their size and quantity. Some reviews mention the availability of cold Faygo pops in bottles and old-school video games, enhancing the nostalgic vibe. The back patio provides a nice place to sit, and there is plenty of parking nearby, making it easy to find.
Paesano’s Pizza has been serving great pizza in downtown Traverse City for many years. Its longevity speaks to the quality of its food and staff. The weekday special, which includes a pop, pizza, and breadsticks for $5, is considered a fantastic deal and perfect for a quick bite. Overall, the interior has a relaxed, old-school feel, and the atmosphere is not pretentious—just good pizza and a friendly environment.
