“For awhile now, I've been on a mission to find the best pizza around the Troy area and I think I've finally found it. I visited Cottage Inn last week after reading the reviews and found out it was under new management. The manager recommended the deep dish so I went with it. It was very good, and also light & airy which isnt typical of a Midwestern deep dish. I was impressed but I couldn't review this place until I tried the round pizza so I went back tonight and got a large pepperoni. I pretty much knew after the first bite that this was something special. Not too thick, not too thin, and zero flop. Fresh ingredients, decent crunch on the crust, & the flavor....Amazing! I've been here twice and both times the manager has done the cooking, which means consistency. If I were to score it on the Portnoy scale, the deep dish would get a 7.9, but the round would get an 8.7. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!“

We ordered subs and salads and the food was great, but the amount of food for the price was spectacular and they don't skimp on the extras like so many places. “I am a Detroiter transplanted to Knoxville, TN 15+ years ago. Coming back to Detroit for a week and finding this near my hotel was a pleasant surprise. The pizza and salad are as amazing as they ever were.

My only disappointment was that no one could tell me how involved the Jacobs family or Wesley were with the business.

“wanted to treat an entire Senior Living community on Rochester Rd to some great pizza. I ordered party trays from Jeffrey several days ahead and everything was was perfect. I wanted to get them double cut, and next time I probably will, but seriously, I saw people > 85 (men and women) eating 2 BIG pieces, it was like serving them gold! In the past, I would bring a few Little Ceasars (because of budget -- I just donate this stuff) but this time I wanted something special. We were celebrating my mom's 95th birthday .... so I wanted to splurge. It was 100000X better than Little Ceasars and everyone loved it. Jeffrey was so nice, so professional and helpful and whomever made the pizzas that day (my husband picked them up, he said it was two women in the shop) they did an awesome job, each pizza looked and smelled beautifully, The residents were even "caught" sneaking pieces to thier apartments for later ... and it went so fast, I never even got to have some. I always order from this Jets (it is just better than the one on Auburn) and I hope corporately you please give Jeff and big thumbs up! I ordered hamburgers too, but the pizza was the hit of the party. They don't get this treat often, so Thank you guys for a job well done!“

The employees are always friendly and quick to help, even on a busy weekend when they’ve clearly got a lot of orders. The lady was nice enough to gently help me decide what pizza toppings and crust to get, and she was kind enough to throw in a little extra toppings/crust flavorings. “We're MOD regulars. While our local MOD knows our order and takes care of us, while traveling we are unsure of how the experience will be. Usually mediocre at best. But this location, just as good as our local MOD.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Got two megas and they were cooked to perfection. That crust was P.E.R.F.E.C.T! Requested both pizzas be cut like the cheesy garlic bread (which usually gets overlooked), but they filled that request and cut them the way we like.

Definitely the best MOD experience we've had while traveling. And I'd be totally okay with this MOD being our local store!“

“I’m shocked by the low reviews. Yes, it’s not buddy’s or Louie’s. It’s inside a mall! Went there on a Saturday at noon. Everything was plentiful and all fresh. I guess if you go during non standard eating times you might get older pizza. Rolls were great! Not over cooked or under cooked. Cesar salad was fresh. My only complaint was the Caesar dressing wasn’t that great. I don’t really have something to compare it to, but it wasn’t creamy and rich like I prefer. But I still ate it. My boyfriend liked the dressing and zero complaints. It was a nice treat after shopping.“
