“Been living in Twin Lake since 1999, and eating at the Overboard for over 20 years. Atmosphere, food, and service has always been first rate. Captain's Plate is my favorite.”

“I've eaten here a number of times and the the food has has been good most of the time. Two times in recent visits I had problems with the food. I had the perch dinner and it was soggy with a pool of grease. Menu suggest a house made crust on the pizza and I have had people recommend it, but the crust was the only thing about the pizza I thought was not good. My wife and I like going there, but wonder if staffing problem are the cause. Until the last two visits the food was consistently good.”

“Love this place!! Great burgers and fries! I ate out tonight and choose this restaurant, unfortunately they didn’t give my extra sauce that I did pay for. And one of them was only a quarter full. But, I’d still go back! (Try their sauces! So yummy)”

“I've been here a number of times and can't get myself to stop ordering the jumbo hog wings. They're too good to pass up. However, they had a pumpkin bisque soup once in the fall that was fantastic too.”

Service was great, and very friendly despite being busy.Parking: Not bad for the Muskegon area. There's street parking around the block and an actual parking lot area in the middle of the block.Kid-friendliness: Fun diner atmosphere and all decor seemed tasteful. No inappropriate humor or signage.”

“Came back home to visit, living in Oklahoma now and asked for the best sandwich/ hoagie shop was and they said this place and they weren't kidding, it's fantastic. I will definitely be back. Now when I come I'll have 2 places I will definitely eat at. Mr.Scribs and Fatty Lumpkins.”

“Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Very nice place with extensive menu. We had the that's my jam pizza with Sicilian crust. It was very good. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Muskegon.”

“Often, when visiting a new coffee house/shop, you get only a part of what you hope for (eg. atmosphere, ambience, service, product quality, and price). At Aldea coffee, you get the whole bundle! If you like something a bit spiced up, try the honey cinnamon latte! Simply great!”

One minus was the man c cheese we ordered for my granddaughter. It was over cooked/dry. Otherwise, the food is AMAZING!”

“This is our favorite date night restaurant! It has a feel of a trattoria in Italy and the food is comparable in taste and quantity to food we had in Italy. The homemade noodles are amazing and the homemade gelato is delicious! We have not had anything on the menu we did not like!”

“The food is decent but they need back up workers on call for when it gets busy that way it doesn't have to take 45 minutes to order an ice cream not a complaint against the employees. But the owner should consider hiring part time people specifically for busy time”

“We love the Bloody Mary Bar❣️ Sundays with live music, great wait staff and great Bloody’s with a sidecar and plenty of goodies to skewer. If you are a bourbon drinker try the bloody bourbon. So Good!! Who knew ??‍♀️”

“Brunch with the family and left with a new family. This is one of the most friendliest places we have eaten at. A genuine welcome when we were seated and a thank you for coming when we left with more than filled bellies. Portions are large. Wish we would have split a omelet. Breakfast buritto was amazing as well. Coffee cup never went empty. Keep this good place going! This is a new hidden gem for us. We will be back.”

“Stopped there during a trip to Muskegon. I had the absolute best latte in my entire life here. It was a mocha with house-made orange syrup, and I'm confident that it will remain the best tasting latte I've ever experienced.”

“Overall a good experience, I went in a bigger group, we were sat on the covered patio area, which was great once the heaters kicked on, I'll give them an 11/10 on how effectively those things work! This restaurant is attached to the LC Walker arena (that now Trinity Health arena), it's nice to be able to hear the going ons of the games without having to actually pay for the games ?. Food was general kitchen food, not too spectacular but not too shabby as well, what'd you would expect of an establishment of the kind. We went on a Sunday evening so it wasn't too busy for the time, pricing is ok, some of the items are a bit pricey depending on what you get, the drinks were pretty good. My daughter got popcorn chicken and fries, the chicken, although very crunchy on the outside was nice and even cooked on the inside, leaving a very good taste in the mouth (of course as mom I had to try some?) the fries were okay, some harder than others. My order of loaded fries and sweet potato fries were great, id go back just for the sweet potato fries ?. The waiters we had were good, although I think because we were a bigger group they kept forgetting a lot of things prior to our food coming, although there was no mix up with the food.”

“Best in the neighborhood! Unfortunately it's located in the parking lot of a Liquor Store that is frequented by homeless and various degenerates. Despite this, the food is always fast, fresh, and delicious! Always worth the trouble.”

“The food was very good. Service was excellent. Staff was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. I had breakfast one day and returned the next day for lunch. The cod was delicious and large enough portion to take some home. I will definitely be going back.”

“I'd heard this was a good place and the reviews were good, so we decided to check it out. I would describe the atmosphere as 'dive bar', but in a good way. Not too big inside and all of the customers were enjoying themselves. Seemed like everyone felt 'at home'. Everything was clean, Service was great. Ordered a Build Your Own Burger... was pleasantly surprised that it was one of the best burgers around! Great Food, Cold Beer, and Good Prices - what more could you ask for?!”

“Beyond beer! So many great things are also happening here - run club, book club, fitness class, basically revolving wheel of interesting activities and events, large & small. The Brewer's Lounge is one of the hubs of this community. Oh, and everything's delicious!”

“UPDATEWe decided to try it again. This time was a complete game changer. Our waitress, Jasmine, was very knowledgeable about gluten-free and what could be made. She was very transparent with us about the menu. We will definitely be returning our next visit ro Michigan.There's a HUGE difference in an intolerance and an allergy. I'm allergic to gluten, which means I can NOT eat it. I wish the servers knew the difference when they put an order on. Unfortunately, my family will never eat here again. Horrible place to eat if you have any type of allergy.”

“I ordered online and pickup was easy and fast.I ordered Pork and Beef PT Tacos, Street Corn Nachos and Chicharonnes.The Tacos were a bit lacking but still really good. The Chicharonnes were an amazing sharable food, the flavor wasn't too over the top but still really good and pleasant.But God Damn, the Street Corn Nachos were to die for!!!! It was loaded with amazing ingredients from top to bottom! Each ingredient plays off the other.If you get one thing get the Street Corn Nachos, you will not regret it ❤️”

“Had the Texas burger and it was one of the top 2 or 3 burgers I have ever had, including my own. I was full but still wanted just one more bite. It was that good. Was served with crinkle fries which were ok but some good hand cut or curly fries would have complemented that delicious burger much better.Dietary restrictions: Wife has gluten allergies, had a burger and said it was good and the bun was better then most. Was thick enough as to not fall apart as some do. Was most like a regular bun.”

“Nice and fair priced cup of coffee, baked goods such as cookies, brownies, baklava. All very delicious.Other places charge way too much for a cup of coffee and sweet baked goods. So nice sensible places still exist.Nice daytime lady employees. Helpful with coffee, baked goods and use of bathroom.”
