“Heads up for anyone looking at the online menu in 2025 they haven’t updated it yet but the prices of things have increased significantly. I ordered what would have been a $35 using te online prices but with the actual prices it turned out to be nearly $65“
“Today I had lunch at the Courses restaurant which is a training restaurant at the Muskegon downtown Baker College culinary school. Lunch was wonderful. I ordered the falafel sandwich. This was quite possibly the very best falafel sandwich I've ever had. Everything was perfectly fresh; including the pickled onion. I am going to return next week again for lunch. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. The prices are more than reasonable.“

“Typically pretty hesitant to take four of our small children to a restaurant especially a nicer restaurant. They were extremely accommodating and very kind. They did not make us feel out of place or like we shouldn’t be there at all. Our server was amazing and beyond patient. The food was really good.“

“Had an awesome time Saturday, 3-1-25. Haven't been back to Herbie's in almost 20 years. Had a waitress that actually remembered my mother my father from when we used to meet there with our youngest daughter. Waitress and I apologize I forgot your name, you were outstanding, caring, and bubbly. She's been a waitress there for 25 years. A lot of the wait staff and staff had tie dye shirts with a logo on the back. Those were cute. Had the steak and eggs, American fries, Texas toast, coffee. Everything was excellent. The wife had standard two eggs bacon and toast. They've had to recently upcharge $0.50 per egg, like a lot of restaurants are because of the new price increase with the bird flu. Still, excellent money for the value that we got. Plenty of portions. Will try to go back soon, hopefully not as long as 20 years. The decor is quaint with airplane memorabilia hanging from the ceilings the walls and posters. Don home folk down home food downhome good time down home great value.“

“Tonight was our first time at Culvers in Muskegon. My husband got a burger basket and a chili, and I got the cod dinner. I have to say, the food was great. The service was so friendly and accommodating. My fish was so good that it had me wishing I could eat more, sadly I am not a big woman. We will be back, again and again.“

“It was amazing driving from Detroit to taste the delicious entres served by the chefs at Soul Filled Restaurant. The food was superb, the customer service was excellent. I would recommend this place to everyone that loves good soul food cooking. This restaurant deserves a 10 out of 10.“

“From central Illinois (nowhere near Chicago) spent a long weekend north of Muskegon, and enjoy checking out breweries. Unruly is in my top three of all I've visited. Was there Apr 26, and had a great conversation with the bartender, loved the vibe, artwork, and especially the brew. The scotch ale was near the top of any I've had......the stout was coffee forward with a chocolately finish (but not heavy)........and the sample of the barrel aged porter was incredible. If your distribution was this far south, I'd be buying often. You guys do it right.“

“Stopped to get a quick bite to eat . Walked in to a friendly smile and welcome.. There is plenty of seating and open area.. I had broccoli and cheese soup. 1 of the best that I have tried in a long time... I ordered the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy.. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The mashed potatoes were hot and delicious. He had lake perch, which was crispy breading and not overcooked. He picked mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, which was really good 👍..... We didn't have room for desserts .. They have plenty of dessert options and desserts to go... You will not be disappointed if you stop for a bite to eat...“

“My husband and I have lived in North Muskegon on Bear Lake all our lives and BLT was a staple for our families. However, had not been back for many years after bad experiences with new ownership. “We decided last minute to try The Lake House for dinner tonight. We didn’t make a reservation, yet we were seated at a table outdoors almost immediately. Sharon was our waitress and she was phenomenal. She quickly greeted us and got our drinks. Within minutes of ordering I got an alert on my phone of an incoming storm. That’s on us for not checking the weather and asked for our order to go. Sharon went above and beyond and somehow managed to find us a table indoors! Food was delicious and Sharon continued to check on us. 10/10 Food and service!“

“Ordered take out for lunch, the only complaints I have or suggestions is my quesadilla was not cut and also very soft on one side but otherwise everything tasted great. We also had chicken strips, fries, hot cheese balls, and fried pickles. Will be returning for lunch soon :)“

To the Wonderful Wait Staff,
Thank you so much for finding and holding onto my purse for me. When I realized it was missing, I was extremely upset and worried. Not only did it contain my wallet and personal belongings, but it also had my medications and my child’s EpiPens inside.
Your honesty and kindness saved me from what would have been a very stressful and overwhelming situation. I truly don’t know what I would have done if my purse hadn’t been there when I came back.
In a world where kindness can sometimes be hard to find, your actions reminded me that there are still genuinely good people who care about others. Thank you for going out of your way to help me. Your act of honesty meant more to me and my family than you will ever know.
