“`This is an excellent place to visit with family or friends. It is peaceful, family oriented, and NO music to assail the customers ears. No blaring televisions, either! Conversations are very easy to carry on. A very special mention I must make is that Angie is the best of the best! Dianna is second on this list. They can give as good as they take when it comes to teasing them. Ten Thumbs Up for both of them! I also like that one of the televisions carries PAWS tv. For us animal lovers this is yet another great attraction.“

“Our family frequents Indiana at least once a month and this is the breakfast place we look forward to days before the trip. Coffee is hot and steady. They offer plain creamer with addition to flavored creamer on the table (as a flavored coffee creamer person I love this). With notes on each table apologizing for staff issues and a delay being served, our food was ordered within 10 minutes and received within 20 minutes (table of 4). 30 minutes total for our food was exceptional. The food is always hot and delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the portions. Staff is always nice and friendly as well as quick with checking on customers. Fruit depends on what is available for the season and is fresh and tasty. This place is definitely worth the stop after our 14 hour drive.“

I haven’t tried any other food but the egg rolls and chicken wings. They have several menu options, from Asian food to gyros, to salads, and burgers, vegetables, sides, and soda drinks.“

“Love the egg rolls. My typical to go dinner order is 3 egg rolls with red sauce. These are amazing and freshly made. China Star has been in business for years. Other items that I order are chicken fried rice, Mongolian beef or broccoli and beef.

Food is made quick and served hot. Even with the recent increase in prices, my orders are usually under $8.“
