“Applebee’s is the kind of place that knows its lane and stays in it—casual dining with familiar favorites. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, but sometimes, that’s exactly what you want.

The burger was a standout—cooked just right, stacked with toppings, and packed with flavor. And the mozzarella sticks? Perfectly crispy on the outside with that satisfying cheese pull inside. Definitely a solid appetizer choice.

What really made the experience, though, was Kyle. Easily one of the best servers I’ve had in a while. Quick with refills, checked in without hovering, and made sure everything came out hot and fresh. You can tell he actually cares about the customer experience.

If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with good food and even better service, Applebee’s—and Kyle—won’t disappoint.”

“This is our new favorite breakfast place when we are in Grand Rapids. The food is wonderful and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. “Best beer in a market that is absolutely saturated. Their creations just flat out taste better than anything else. From a light drinking lager to a stout that you can only have 1 of LOL. Chill atmosphere with a friendly staff that is efficient without being overpowering. Food is excellent with a simple burger and fries that I’d put up against anyone else’s.”

“On Monday evening, I visited the Standale store after rushing home from work and collecting my two young kids. I had a 16' equipment trailer behind my truck with 6000 lbs of material, which meant I could not squeeze through a drive-thru. I waffled on what to do, and there was no available parking. So, I remote started the truck, ran inside, to which a very kind customer let me pass, and the cashier named Jim urgently took my order and, without hesitation said he would bring the food to the truck, so that I could quickly get back to the kids. I was probably in and out in 2 minutes. Just a few minutes later, Jim came out with the order, and spoke to me like a true human, and said hi to the kids. And when the chocolate milk was missing, he ran back inside and grabbed two bottles, with apologies.

Chick-fil-A is built on service, so, I wasn't shocked that this would be the one place where they'd go above and beyond, but even then, it left a memorable mark on me. I had to leave a glowing review. Thank you for being so kind and understanding. Coming off an instance of bad service just days ago, this was incredibly refreshing. Thank you Jim and Chick-fil-A!”

“We purchased a variety of cheesecakes to serve for our wedding dessert. They were a huge hit. Every single flavor was sooooo good. We got so many compliments from our guests. The owner is friendly; communication was efficient and prompt. Super happy with our choice. If we ever had another event, I would absolutely order a bulk order again. For now, I will continue to stop in and purchase from the available cheesecakes in the coolers :)”

“This is my primary coffee stop - they are always fast and friendly. Even when busy the line moves quickly and they get the order correct. I've been coming here since it was built and do not have a single complaint (except for when semi trucks or work trucks part on the side road outside of it and block traffic, but that's not their fault!)”

“I’ve ordered items from this location 3 times and have not have a bad time of it. I will say that the last time I ordered, I got a stuffed Howie bread, which was everything I dreamed it would be ✨, but I was anticipatory 😝 so I went to pick it up early and waited in my car. I saw them place the box in the heating lamp/shelf thingy, but my app never updated. I waited a few minutes and thought hmmm maybe that’s not mine, but the time had passed on the Howie tracker in the app where they said it would be ready so I went in to make my presence known. The box I saw from my car was indeed my order. It wasn’t cold yet, but basically I’m saying that if you’re going for pick up, the app doesn’t update in real time, so I’d just go inside to get it even if it doesn’t say it’s ready, so you can get the freshest pizza!

In the two orders I have pictured here, one was from November where I got the chicken and waffles pizza (no chicken bc I don’t eat meat- so basically waffles pizza 🤪) and it was delicious. I ended up ordering it a second time- if you don’t get the chicken, it’s essentially a dessert pizza which reminded me of the old dessert pizzas at another restaurant which shall not be named in this review, that used to have full dining room service with an epic buffet. If you know, you know. Anyway, I’m sure if you get the actual chicken and waffles pizza, and you like that kind of thing, you’ll love this pizza.

My second order pictured, I got the 3 cheese stuffed Howie bread. Check my video for cheese pull 🧀 😎. It was perfect. Everything I dreamed of in the moment.

I don’t order often from Hungry Howie’s but honestly every time I do, I’m reminded of the superiority in crust flavoring and I question myself as to why I don’t return more often.

Decent service, good pizza, convenient location. Gracias.

Parking: Plenty of parking in the free parking lot. This is not a sit down place, so there aren’t many people parked at any given time as it’s just for pick up orders or delivery.

“I had a great experience in Akron, Ohio. The same company there was great and this one was no different. You have the menu above the cashier and if you have any questions about the menu they are more than willing to help out. If your having a gathering or in the need to feed a large group of people. They have food for just the occasion. If your looking for a quick meal they will make it on the spot. The sandwich 🥪 I tried was fresh. It wasn't heated up in a microwave. I didn't try there pie, I'm sure it taste as good as their hot food. Payment here will be in the form or cash or credit card. There plenty of parking in the front.”

“I was just left an event at a nearby Church and was very hungry. It was late at night and I was worried about upsetting fast food employees getting food so late. The young lady on the comm system was so kind and welcoming! She even gave us suggestions for how to save some money and shared some amazing deals that were going on, even though it would take her more work! She was so joyful and guaranteed us fresh food. It was an amazing experience! I’m not from around but man did I feel at home! So thankful for this experience!”
