“After backpacking in the woods for four days we traditionally hunt for BBQ. After a harsh debate, the eleven of us decided to try a new spot in Walker. Walking up to a sign that said open Sundays noon till we run out! At Two o’clock we were nervous about the variety, but in the end we all stumbled out with stomach’s distended and belts stretched out! They only hand you a fork as an option for the tender fall apart slabs of brisket that came with a side of fresh house bbq sauce. The ribs were fall off the bone ready as each bite melted into your mouth! From cornbread to coleslaw to Mac, every bite was a sensation!! And when we all decided we couldn’t possible handle anything more, a few brave souls ventured back in for helping of banana pudding! Folks, let me tell you a story! This story begins with what I thought was just banana pudding, but would later be a life changing adventure! Every bite better than the last, each smooth, creamy morsel somehow became better than the previous. We were so happy with this 6 out of 5 star experience that we dragged the entire Stubburn team out for a picture with us! We left with full bellys, full spirits and bags full of Meatballs! Thank you Stubburn! Keep at it!! Best BBQ in the Midwest!”

“Best beer in a market that is absolutely saturated. Their creations just flat out taste better than anything else. From a light drinking lager to a stout that you can only have 1 of LOL. Chill atmosphere with a friendly staff that is efficient without being overpowering. Food is excellent with a simple burger and fries that I’d put up against anyone else’s.”

“It's not often now days that I'm impressed with a restaurant but this place is great! First off, the place has a nice atmosphere, very bright and everyone is smiling and friendly. The turkey ruben i ordered (The Rachel) was delicious. I was so happy to see they had a healthy choice for a side, steamed broccoli, and it was good. Their salads look amazing too. I'll definitely be back.”

“On Monday evening, I visited the Standale store after rushing home from work and collecting my two young kids. I had a 16' equipment trailer behind my truck with 6000 lbs of material, which meant I could not squeeze through a drive-thru. I waffled on what to do, and there was no available parking. So, I remote started the truck, ran inside, to which a very kind customer let me pass, and the cashier named Jim urgently took my order and, without hesitation said he would bring the food to the truck, so that I could quickly get back to the kids. I was probably in and out in 2 minutes. Just a few minutes later, Jim came out with the order, and spoke to me like a true human, and said hi to the kids. And when the chocolate milk was missing, he ran back inside and grabbed two bottles, with apologies.

Chick-fil-A is built on service, so, I wasn't shocked that this would be the one place where they'd go above and beyond, but even then, it left a memorable mark on me. I had to leave a glowing review. Thank you for being so kind and understanding. Coming off an instance of bad service just days ago, this was incredibly refreshing. Thank you Jim and Chick-fil-A!”

“I find that, while pleasant to dine in, the fact that I wear hearing aids make the ambient sounds in the restaurant make it more difficult to enjoy than I would like. That's not the fault of the restaurant.”

“My go-to Starbucks. Service is typically very friendly, coffees are usually consistent. Really nice to have a spot to go to when I want to work remotely out of the house. Only suggestion is that the cafe is always really cold, like so cold I usually can’t stay long unless I am wearing a jacket. Please consider keeping the cafe at more comfortable temp. 🫶🏼”

“Honestly wasn’t expecting much since it’s inside a gas station, but this Krispy Krunchy Chicken is seriously on another level. Super fresh, crispy, and the Cajun seasoning gives it real flavor without being too salty or greasy. Tastes more like something you’d get from a legit restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming back — this might be my new go-to spot.”

Very nice guy and always made sure we had full drinks etc. of course the food is always great but he will be the reason we come back again. Definitely need more employees like him!!
