“Best beer in a market that is absolutely saturated. Their creations just flat out taste better than anything else. From a light drinking lager to a stout that you can only have 1 of LOL. Chill atmosphere with a friendly staff that is efficient without being overpowering. Food is excellent with a simple burger and fries that I’d put up against anyone else’s.“

“Took a trip to Grand Rapids and attended a Paint and Sip at Speciation Cellars. It was an amazing time! Great atmosphere. Cool art and relaxed vibe. “I went picked Brass Ring Brewing to celebrate my birthday with my family. I choose Brass Ring because I was interested in trying their cask ales. What I found at Brass Ring was a level of customer service that I have rarely found across the food service industry. We showed up at Brass Ring to find that a very large group was dining there, taking up a majority of the seating. They don't take reservations, so it was going to be a challenge finding a table for our group of 6. The owner heard the staff struggling to find us an available table. He jumped in and found a solution. He personally asked a couple that was seated at a large table if they would be willing to move. They graciously accepted to make room for us. This level of customer service has obviously been trained into the entire staff because our waiter was the most helpful and hospitable server I've ever encountered. Firstly, he was extremely knowledgeable of food and drink menu, helping us to navigate it superbly. He also got the entire restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday" with us when it was time for dessert. The food and drinks were top notch, but the customer service was out of this world. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the Brass Ring. You will not be disappointed!“

“It had been a while since i've been here. I can say this is some of the best service I've had in the city for a long while. Andrew was our bartender and I want to specifically say what an amazing job he did. Great bartender, good recommendations, and his quality of service would certainly be a reason I'll be back here more often.“

“Been in GR for almost a year and while we had high hopes of finding a kick ass beer and brewery quickly, it took longer than expected. After a year we only have a few we really like. This is one of them. I won't mention the others on this but Greyline (Grayline?) is in our top 3. Beer is killer, food kicks ass and they have great variety of food without over complicating menu. Ruben week is this week. Come in and grab a beer and some killer food and enjoy. Can bring kids but I wouldn't recommend due to size, really no room for the little monsters unless you use the patio so keep that in mind....but totally bring your dog! We all love dogs and if you don't.......well....your cat sucks!“

“City Built Brewing Company is a great spot on the corner for grabbing some beers! I didn’t try the food, so can’t speak to that, but their beer selection is solid — especially if you’re into hop-forward brews. They’ve got a good variety and offer flights, which is always a plus when you want to sample a few.

The atmosphere is fun and lively, and the service was solid throughout. Definitely a cool place to hang out and enjoy some well-crafted beers in Grand Rapids.“

“Always enjoy your beer but why does your bathroom resemble a jail cell? Weird, dark, lighting and dark colors. Also, that stainless steal sink that stays on for maybe a fraction of a second.

Who saw this aesthetic and thought, I'd feel comfortable in my most vulnerable state here.

“I love this place and come several times a year. I was so disappointed today to find out that the Chixken Burrito with white Queso sauce is no longer available. Please bring it back as I have. Recommended this to several of my clients and we all love this. I will totally be back just hope with this available on the menu.“

“I've been once but haven't been able to go again. Tried to go yesterday but didn't realize the school was on spring break. please work on adding signage to your doors and updating Facebook.“

“My husband and I took our young kids to this bar for dinner. There wasn't a ton of seat but the place was clean and bright. The food was just okay. We ordered the nachos with beef, a burger, the kids hot dog and the kids pizza. My husband got wooki wuv beer and it was delicious.“

“Great atmosphere, as soon as I came in. The bartenders Emilio and Mari took care of me and were very attentive and very well versed in the current bar scene. Got to try their mushroom burger it was so absolutely delicious. I also got to try their “surprise me” drink a bartenders choice apart of Dry January. A blue raspberry lemonade took be back to the vacation I just recently went on, couldn’t have asked for more with that. The GM Maggie also shared the rich history of Atwater, Overall great experience and I’m definitely coming back again!“

“The cocktails made with in house gin and rye are dah bomb! The servers are attentive and personable. The food is amazing - highly recommend the fried rice and cod. Capt Dave for the beer win with a visit to the gorgeous beer garden in the back. A must visit when in the Grand Rapids area.“

“My wife and I did a brewery tour with Kyle, and he was really a great guide. It was definitely one of the better brewery tours we've been on. It was a nice balance of the history of Founders and seeing the production area. We had a beer beforehand in the taproom which was huge! Good beer and good service. Lots of taproom only options. The shop was also cool, with a lot of merch. I appreciated they sold singles of a lot of the beers so you could grab stuff to try without committing to a 4 or 6 pack. I wish more breweries would do this. Great experience overall!“
