“Hi. I was looking online for a good sandwich place and got a corned beef sandwich today. The staff and overall experience was great! However, I've never seen such a highly rated sandwich place use processed cheese instead of actual swiss cheese. The meat was good although the portion seemed a bit light and the sandwich overall was excellent. I'll come back but won't ask for cheese on my sandwiches.“

“This was our first time here. My friend had a delicious Greek Wrap and I had a Rice Bowl with my vegetables of choice. I had a smoothie as well. Everything was so good; very fresh and tasty. The staff is very friendly and efficient.“

“Stumbled upon the company at the local farmers market, the staff managing was super nice and helpful when it came to selecting products. Had a great selection of meats & pierogi flavors, picked up the breakfast + buffalo chicken ones to try along with their homemade polish mustard! Will definitely be looking out for their future markets to stock up!“

“In my life I never got to have the deli experience, meaning getting to go out for lunch or dinner. We grew up that we ate at home,and you ate what was prepared. Or you didn’t eat. Imagine my surprise first time at a Deli wow! To this day when I go in, what to get it all looks good. My mouth actually starts watering when I walk in. Now the main subject Breakaway Deli greeted by a wonderful person at the register, order was prepared in a timely fashion. Only to have a mouth watering to taste that beautiful sandwich! Don’t take my word stop by or drove over. Oh oh fast service and clean sorry to be long winded.“

“I rolled in to Dearborn Sausage Saturday 11/09/24 in the early afternoon to grab two subs and some bacon to take home. I need to brag about the great service I got. The minute I walked in the door, a friendly employee saw there were no handbaskets and ran to get me one without me asking him. I walked over to the sub station to order, and the young lady who made my order was friendly, quick, and man, did she ever make me a killer BLT sub! Best one I have had! And my dressings were on the side as requested. I then moved over to the meat counter to pick up some ham slices and ham shanks for soup. Whoever the young man was assisting me - pay him whatever you need to to keep him! I was eyeing the shanks that wouldn't be as good for soup as some other others; he pointed this out to me and explained why. Then he went on to choose 3 meaty, super nice shanks for my soup, along with the some slices I needed for another recipe. Friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, just a stellar employee. Even when I went to pay, the cashier was friendly and chatty. I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have had at Dearborn Sausage. I didn't catch any of these four employee's names, but I was in there around 2pm if that helps. In these times when nobody seems to want to work, these four were absolutely outstanding. Bravo!“
“SOME OF THE MEN THAT WORK THERE ALL ON THE PLACE I BELIEVE AND THE MAJORITY OF THEM ARE REALLY NICE AND HELPFUL BUT THERE ARE ONE OR TWO THAT JUST ARE VERY RUDE AND MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE THEY'RE ABOVE YOU OR THEY'RE LOOKING DOWN ON YOU BUT THAT IS VERY COMMON IN THE ARABIC COMMUNITY THAT MEN ARE TREATED AS THE BOSS AS THE KING AND WOMEN ARE TO SERVE THEM BUT THE HEAD OWNER I BELIEVE HE IS IS A VERY VERY HELPFUL AND SWEET AND WILL JOKE AROUND WITH YOU AND WILL GIVE YOU DEALS ON PIZZA AND BASICALLY I BELIEVE IT'S JUST ONE THAT I'M SPEAKING OF THAT IS SO SUPER RUDE AND MEAN AND HE TRIED TO SELL ME TWO PIECES OF PIZZA THAT HAD TO HAVE BEEN IN THERE FOR HOURS AND HOURS YOU COULD TELL BY LOOKING AT IT IT WAS LIKE A MEAT LOVER'S SLICES AND THERE WAS ONLY TWO OR THREE PIECES LEFT YOU COULD TELL THEY HAD BEEN IN THERE FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME HOURS AND HE TRIED TO SELL THEM TO ME FOR OVER $4 A PIECE AND WOULD NOT TAKE NOTHING LESS AND THEN THE BROTHER OR THE MAIN OWNER I CALL HIM HE WAS LIKE OH YOU WANT SOME FOR $3 AND EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE OLD I MEAN OR BEEN IN THE THE HEATER THING FOR QUITE SOME TIME STILL IT WAS A DEAL YOU KNOW TWO PIECES OF PIZZA FOR $3 WITH EVERYTHING ON THEM WAS A GOOD DEAL SO I GRABBED THEM AND HE WAS SO NICE AND JUST A COOL PERSON“

First timer with all kinds of pesky dietary restriction. Vegans and Vegetarians delight. Reminds me of NYC. Food is clearly made with love and care and historical precedent. Tastes like home - wherever your home may be.
Pies? Dangerously BINGEABLE!
The texture and flavor balance in the tabbuleh is unmatched in metro Detroit.

Five stars for the food. All the rest of them for the distinct lack of pretension, the immediate coziness, and the charm of the folks on the other side of that well traveled counter. This place is in great hands.

“Besides having amazing ham, the turkey breast (smoked or roasted) is absolutely delicious! The blueberry coffee cake and carrot cake is a must have as well. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.“
“Had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant today for the first time. I was in a hurry and didnt get a chance to look over the entire menu so I did the 2 for $15 corned beef and it was amazing!! I never mentioned being in a hurry and my food came up so fast I was never at risk of being late to my next stop. The lady taking orders was extremely nice and she even gave my son a juice which he appreciated!“

“We just booked CJ’s to cater our country wedding reception with their Pig Roast menu. The food was fantastic! We had plenty for everyone and almost everyone asked where the food came from. Due to Covid, our wedding was put together in 3 months. CJ’s handled everything beautifully. Set up, clean up, making sure food was restocked, they were marvelous. I would be happy to use them again.
