“I know the owner, and he takes pride in the food. We run an urban farm adjacent to the restaurant in the back of Masjid. The delicious food stands out as different from your regular Bengali restaurant. Everyone should try it. Highly recommend. You can see our farm afterward.“

“VESTAVIA HILLS, AL LOCATION: I have been excited to tell yall about this place man (video review coming soon)! I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. “I order from here often for years now. My go to is the chicken stir-fry, no mushrooms or green pepper ands extra carrots. I've had the chicken pita, strips, fries, etc and everything is always pretty good. Prices are fake and you get a pretty decent amount of food. I always have leftovers. Staff has always been friendly and inviting. I recommend if you're looking for great food at the mall or even carry out for dinner.“

“While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.“

“This is absolutely the best Mediterranean restaurant in the state of Michigan. Their chicken swarma is phenomenal it is never dried out always fresh with homemade phenomenal garlic sauce. The humas is the best I've ever eaten. The tabooli salad will knock you out.You will not find a better Mediterranean restaurant.Thanks for the great food great service and fair prices. “We were craving some greasy street style food so we thought to give this Halal Coney Island a shot. First of all, the food was beyond our expectations. I got a turkey burger and naga dog and my husband got a chicken tikka over rice. 10/10 for EACH DISH. This is now my go to spot now for Detroit. The menu has everything from nachos to breakfast. The staff is very friendly and know their menu well. The restaurant is very clean and you can tell they take pride in their business.
Definitely a hidden gem.“
