Normally the food is good if it’s fresh. However, I had multiple experiences where the food was either cooked earlier, but by the time I purchase it, it’s already too dried and shouldn’t be sold. For example, chicken 65 gets really dried up in few hours and either the prices for it should be lowered at that point or let customers know that it will be dried. I had similar experience with fried chicken few times. A customer is paying for the food and it’s better to have them as a repeated customer than making couple of dollars from bad food.“

I ordered a 'grilled chicken'...and it's more like a grilled seasonal rotisserie' WHOLE CHICKEN, face-down, served with slices of lemon, FF, sliced tomatoes, 'pickled' green peppers', came with nice side salad in the beginning, ended with small hot tea.. WAY MORE than I can handle for sure! Definitely worth the $25 meal (disadvantage, no alcohol served)... Overall.. very good Middle East restaurant!“

The staff here are incredibly warm and welcoming, even treating you to complimentary tea while you get settled. The interior has a really nice vibe, and it is exceptionally clear that everything is strictly Halal Zabihah, with signage posted everywhere for complete peace of mind.
The food easily matches the service. The beef shawarma is phenomenal, packing layers of authentic flavor, and the beef kabob skewer was just as incredible, tasting remarkably fresh. Prices are very fair overall, though keep in mind they add a small surcharge if you pay with a card. A fantastic experience from start to finish and easily worth checking out.“

“Just moved to the area & tried them for the first time about a month ago and They have the BEEEESSSSTTT chicken shawarma EVEEER. Every time I get one it has the right amount of everything. Literally portioned perfectly. Garlic sauce in every bite, pickle and the right amount of chicken. You can tell it’s all white meat as well. I don’t too much care for dark meat in shawarma. Last night me and my boyfriend got a platter right before closing and it was fresh and hot !!! They have fresh puff bread too. Man o man was it amazingly good. My ONLY complaint is that I wish they put more shawarma chicken/steak.. they were a little stingy with that but other than that it was delicious. I eat here weekly now 😩😂😂“

“Absolutely loved our meal at Halal Urban Thai! We ordered the beef fried rice, drunken noodles with chicken, jasmine rice, and the saucy crispy chicken, and every single dish was delicious. The fried rice was full of flavor, the noodles were perfectly chewy with fresh basil and peppers, and the chicken had a sweet, tangy sauce we couldn't stop eating. Portions were generous too.

The customer service was amazing. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. It's also great to have a fully halal Thai spot in the area. We'll definitely be coming back!“

“For the last two years I have been using this restaurant for high-quality Indian (Desi) food. Mostly for business meetings at places that love Indian food and they have all told me this is their favorite place in the area. I myself have tasted it and it is wonderful one of the best places in this area. Good flavor and authentic!

They are also with DoorDash and this location has a specials menu where some items available here are not at the other location. Also the chef here has 25 years of experience cooking in the UK, and that quality shows here. The manager Abdul is great! Will return many times.“

“First time went for Iftar with the family and amazingly everything was on point mashallah. We heard mix reviews from our friends and family but honestly we didn't taste anything better than this place in michigan. For the buffet they had various options to choose from and the price was really affordable. We tried the best zilabi on town. My picky eater son finished everything which means it's really good. “VESTAVIA HILLS, AL LOCATION: I have been excited to tell yall about this place man (video review coming soon)! I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. “Just a average for food. Just like your regular Chinese or Asian fastfood in Michigan. Sit in restaurants have better food quality. Compared to ASIAN RESTAURANTS and ASKAN FAST FOODS in TORONTO or ANY MAJOR CITY in Canada or to Chicago it would just be average. Chinese food are better in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, New York and Sugarland, Texas. I'm expecting that the food will get better in the near future.“

“Came to the food court sad and tired after I missed a return date on my clothes, guy called me over for a sample of his shawarma and I really liked it. He then threw a piece of bread on the ground because a bird had gotten in the food court and the bird swooped down and ate it. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap with hummus and it tasted like probably one of the best shawarmas I’ve ever eaten, the bread pair amazingly with the freshly made hummus aswell next time I’m at Oakland mall I’ll definetly head over to golden chicken, made my day much better.“

“This is absolutely the best Mediterranean restaurant in the state of Michigan. Their chicken swarma is phenomenal it is never dried out always fresh with homemade phenomenal garlic sauce. The humas is the best I've ever eaten. The tabooli salad will knock you out.You will not find a better Mediterranean restaurant.Thanks for the great food great service and fair prices.
