“Stopped in for a quick bite on our road trip. We picked this place because it seemed healthy and quick.

We were welcomed so warmly, all of the staff greeted us and gave is their insight on what’s popular and what they recommend.

The food was out together production-line style yet every bite was delicious. The vegetables were crips and fresh. The chicken was still not and perfectly seasoned and the rice was an aromatic base to the meal.

As we were leaving we were asked what we thought and how the staff recommendations worked out for us; my answer, 10/10.

“I was visiting the area from Ohio and was looking for something halal and I ran across this place. I ordered a build your own bowl with rice and lamb. Added onions, peppers, mushroom, broccoli and cilantro,with the spicy garlic sauce and teriyaki. The food was 🔥. Lamb was tender and seasoned very well. Rice was cooked perfectly and the vegetables I added were grilled great,done but aldente. I went back again before I left. The brother who took my order both times was really courteous and had a good attitude. It's a must try if your visiting the D.“

“VESTAVIA HILLS, AL LOCATION: I have been excited to tell yall about this place man (video review coming soon)! I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. Normally the food is good if it’s fresh. However, I had multiple experiences where the food was either cooked earlier, but by the time I purchase it, it’s already too dried and shouldn’t be sold. For example, chicken 65 gets really dried up in few hours and either the prices for it should be lowered at that point or let customers know that it will be dried. I had similar experience with fried chicken few times. A customer is paying for the food and it’s better to have them as a repeated customer than making couple of dollars from bad food.“

“While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.“

I ordered a 'grilled chicken'...and it's more like a grilled seasonal rotisserie' WHOLE CHICKEN, face-down, served with slices of lemon, FF, sliced tomatoes, 'pickled' green peppers', came with nice side salad in the beginning, ended with small hot tea.. WAY MORE than I can handle for sure! Definitely worth the $25 meal (disadvantage, no alcohol served)... Overall.. very good Middle East restaurant!“
