“While I can’t attest to dine-in as I did a carry out order, the restaurant was beautiful inside and out from what I saw when I picked up my order. My husband said he’d love to take me on a date there one day, but we wanted the yummy food at home today. We live across the street and it was our first time visiting after almost a year of living next door.We got the fettuccine Alfredo, the Giusseppe's and truffle fries. Our total was $53. We thought it was a tad pricy but once we tried the food, we were literally completely blown away. Worth. Every. Single. Cent.The Alfredo was to die for. I’ve had Alfredo from every other local place and chain place and none have come close to the taste of bar Veronas. The flavor is SPECTACULAR and the noodles are clearly home made. My husband enjoyed his pasta a lot and we appreciate that our meals still came with bread despite not eating in. The bread was super soft and FRESH! Phenomenal. The truffle fries were crispy, just the right amount of oily, salty, flavorful, and delectable. I could eat them every single day they are so good.I can’t say enough about how good their food is. I wish I had more words. I cannot wait to eat here again, I can’t believe I waited so long to try it! It’s nice to have such a restaurant right by our home.TLDR: LOVED THE FOOD!!“

“Ordered for pick up. It was ready super fast. Parking more challenging than picking up. Food was fresh and good. There was a big piece of chicken in my collard-wrapped sandwich, not little pieces. Very tasty. I also loved the bean salad. I'll definitely be back to try a bowl or salad, and more sandwiches. Which, I might add, are very customizable when ordering through the app, but I just took mine as is.“

“At first glance everything seems to be on the expensive side but the food was delicious and everything tasted fresh. The tortilla chips were fried to perfection and the cilantro fries were amazing with the dipping sauces they came with (we tried the chimichurri and the chipotle ranch). The mini churros was a nice way to end the meal and my leftovers were just as good the second day. We will be back again for sure!“

“I'm a pretty picky customer and tend to nitpick, admittedly. However, I've been coming here for about 2 yrs now and NOT ONCE did I have anything to complain about except for the fact that they're not open 24/7 lol! The best sushi & sashimi in the country! It's always so fresh and the presentation is beautiful! Their meso & clear soup is superb and their housemade salad dressing is delicious! The hibachi is delicious & very entertaining and interactive. The atmosphere is always great. The service is wonderful and hospitable. The General Manager is exceptional and he has built an exceptional team. I won't go anywhere else when I'm craving Japanese cuisine!“

“Great cafe located right off Main Street in Rochester, MI. I love to stop here when I visit MI! The coffee and desserts are to die for! The ambience is lively and there’s live entertainment on the weekends. My favorite is the tiramisu cheesecake. ?“

“This little place has been around for years which speaks volumes right there. The menu is expansive and the custard is delicious. There's plenty of tables to enjoy your treat at their outdoor seating in the backyard. The service is usually prompt and friendly. The parking area is a very short distance away and best of all, it's paved. (There's another popular custard place nearby but their lot is dirt and gravel which makes it a messy place to park if the weather isn't great). So it's a big plus to come here just for that reason alone. The menu has so many choices, you'll have to come back again and again and again.“

“Went here on a Thursday evening about 1 hour before they closed. The staff were SO friendly! Ordered a large pizza with half cheese and half green peppers and onions. It’s been hard to find a good NY style pizza in this area, and this was a solid 4/5! The side with just cheese tasted better than the side with toppings. Not sure why! I’d definitely come back here again. The pizza felt so light and I didn’t feel awful after eating it. I am not fond of the Japanese tea, but they do offer beer and soft drinks.Vegetarian options: Vegetable sashimi, nicely spiced, salad and entreés. I often order the vegeterian selections because I like them although I am not vegeterian.Dietary restrictions: The server always checks with the chefs who will exclude foods I am allergic to.Parking: There is a ramp at one end of the building, but the entrance is flanked by two sets of stairs. Although they share the parking area with two large anchor stores, we've always found close parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair users will need assistance entering and exiting the restaurant, but staff is always there to help. “I am absolutely outraged with the behavior of the owner today at SOHO. My family and I went to this restaurant after Saturday little league games. We had 5 adults, 5 children and 2 babies. We have been to this restaurant countless times as a family. Today, after sitting and looking an menus, ordering drinks, we were met by the manager that came to our table and said “I’m sorry our limit is 8 people”. Confused, we asked for clarity because again, we have been to this restaurant countless times with the SAME group and number of people. In fact, we have NEVER been to this restaurant with less people. I asked, “wait are you saying we can’t eat here today because of the number of people?“ THAT is how confused I seriously was. The manager then responded, “Yes, I’m so sorry”. I pointed out to him that we had been sitting, getting ready to order for quite some time. Moments before this, the waiter came to take our orders but had to leave to grab us extra napkins. He said that his waiter called him all the way from his home because he couldn’t “do it” - referring to asking us to leave. There were quite a few other staff members there. So if this was a rule, why didn’t any of them point it out to the “new person” or let us know right away Of their “party limit”.? Please know we went on a Saturday around 330pm and there was two other parties in the entire restaurant - totaling only 5 other people. To me, if I had a party that was a few people over my “limit” I would not kick them out one, but definitely not when my restaurant is close to empty and the party has already been sat. Because of my “new team members” error- as a manager, I would have continued to serve this party. I need to point out that NONE of us in our entire lives have ever been asked to leave ANYWHERE. We are a Christian family of Pastors and ministers. I say this to speak to our character. There was no behavior on our end, that warranted this. I also pointed out that the table we were sitting at was DESIGNED for more than 10 people. We didn’t come into the restaurant moving tables and chairs together, the table was already set up for 12 people to sit there. I asked the manager why we were sat and waited on For all this time to then be kicked out? He claimed that the person who was our waiter was new and didn’t know their 8 people limit rule. I pointed out the fact that the table we were sitting at was set up for 12 And asked why that is if they had a limit of 8? He then said with our number of kids - it is not safe for them in the restaurant because their establishment serves alcohol. So first it was because our party was more than 8 and then it turned into being an issue with the number of kids? There is absolutely no reason for this behavior. To me, the only thing that makes any sense is it being racially discriminatory. I strongly urge you to no longer go to this restaurant. Of course, we left with no issue because if we are not welcome or wanted because of race or any other invalid reason- we don’t want to eat at the restaurant anyways. But point of my review is to prevent this from happening to anyone else. we used to love this place and our entire family would come. never again, even with 2 people will I step foot in this establishment and I will strongly encourage everyone I know and everyone that’s reading this to do the same.“

“We did a pick up tonight from the Shelby Township location after I found out they had gluten free and vegan cheese pizzas. Everything was amazing! My husband got the BBQ chicken pizza and never have we seen one come with onion straws— game changer! The gluten free vegan cheese bread was the best I’ve had, along with the pizza. Thank you, this will be our new spot. Also checked out the momma’s dessert bar to see if the vegan ice cream options were legit. Will be stopping here for ice cream in the near future.
