“Where do I even start? Every time I go here or order takeout it’s worth it. You can taste the love and the genuine care that’s put into these recipes. I ordered the Reuben pizza tonight as a carry out, I traveled 45 minutes out of my way from Petoskey plus a 30 minute drive home to Gaylord. I got to share this pizza with 2 people that have never had it and they loved it as much as I do. If you’re not familiar with this gem of a restaurant you should be. This place needs to be a destination whenever you’re traveling through northern Michigan! The thirsty Sturgeon will always hold a soft place in my heart and a soft place in the hearts of those I get to share the experience with! Kudos to you Thirsty Sturgeon, keep doing what you’re doing and the rest will fall in place!”

Gotta make this a place to stop and eat!! The sisters there are so much fun and they are NOT Stingy with the amt of food they serve!”

“I'm a retired chef and this was probably the best breakfast we've had in this entire area! Fluffiest pancakes ever, and the same with the omelet, which is a multi step process, plus filling ingredients all sauted and in every bite. Fast, quality, service and the prices were very reasonable.”

“Foods delicious. The burgers are absolutely one of my favorites or prime rib on Saturdays. The portion sizes for some things aren't the biggest and it's a little costly. The people that work there are some of the best to be around especially bar tenders. They own other bars in the area. Id recommend trying the Torrey tavern location wolverine, MI. Less expensive and more of a bar atmosphere. Music nights. They also own the wigwam and corwith in the surrounding areas. Try them all out and find the one that fits you.”
