“Every single food item my group got we loved. I got pierogies, and Philly with truffle tots. First off whoever thought of truffle tots should win an award. The truffle, herbs, and cheese get in the crispy crevices which makes it so tasty! My friends got pretzels and burgers... all great! $4 craft drafts on Thurs with music bingo was nice! If I ever drive 45 minutes to Wyandotte again, I'll hit this place up.“

“Before we moved away in 1972 (when I was 10) This was my father's bar.... Where everybody KNEW HIS NAME.... and I often was with him and everybody knew MY NAME, and bought me Shirley Temples.... I played in the empty stage area on the other side of the bar area.... Has it changed in 60 years? “BEST FOOD Ever for Downriver's Best Brewery. Outstanding selection of Brews!! Ate there constantly since they opened in Nov 2019. Food is DEEEEELICIOUS! 3 Awesome Brewers/Owners, 5 Outstanding Waitresses, and 2 Superb Cooks. Their constant smiles are catchy for all to view!! Just a wonderful & comfortable place to visit and relax at. And you can play Domino’s there too! Always Enjoy.“
“A lot of free surrounding convenient parking. This place reminds me of a smaller St. Andrews Hall. The security was on point. The prices weren't too crazy at the bar. I love that they give you ice water instead of purified water in a bottle. You can get pretty close up to the stage, and I loved that they had a handicap area to sit in as my sciatica was acting up. Will most definitely be back.“

“Been coming here since I was 21 with a 10yeqr gap in my mid 20’s to mid 30’s. Even when they’re packed we have good service. TV’s everywhere so every seat has a good view of whatever game is on. And they have touch tones so you control the music when there isn’t a game. Pleasant and attentive staff. Great beer selection and it’s always fresh. Just wish there were a few more healthy food selections. Even so everything is tasty. Chili is definitely some of the best restaurant chili available and in the fall they have rotating soups.“

“Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce!Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. “Ohhh, this bar is awesome!!! The bartender, star, she's incredible! Make sure that you tip her good! Super nice and polite, she was very understanding when I told her about the guy who took my drink, lol. I had a fun time playing chess, talking shit, I wish that there was food, this is the only thing, but even without food, the bar was fantastic, I don't know, maybe there was food and I was too drunk, I don't know. Fun bar, great time. If you're going to come here, don't be too serious.. You will have a fun time, I promise you. Everyone there is polite. But seriously, if you come to this bar, seriously, just give Star your money and she will give you a great drink. She's also super nice so no need to be uptight at this bar, you'll be okay! This bar, great place, there's a party that's going to be at this bar tomorrow, if you're going to come to this bar, seriously, just go to Star, she'll give you a good drink seriously.. I'm definitely coming back to this bar!!! There's not enough good things to say about it, but this is a good place to party, tomorrow!!! Very good!! Thanks!!! P.S. about the food, I don't know if they had any, they may actually have food there, but I didn't know what they had, I got a drink, but tomorrow, I'll see if they have food, and I'll probably forget to even update this review. I love the beautiful waterfront view here at the point where the Detroit River opens into Lake Erie. This club is connected to an island that is connected to an island that is connected to an island. “This place is a MUST to visit!...the food alone is a great reason to make this place a regular because everything is homemade...even the sauce and chips!!!...we usually come every Sunday...but Thursday is ladies night, with great specials...so we have incorporated other days into our busy schedule... because we have nothing but fun...if you're looking for a laid back place, with tons of fun...this is the place...see ya Sunday...✌️“

The prices on drinks are quite reasonable, especially during happy hour.One thing to keep in mind is that there is not a lot of space and the restrooms are not too convenient.Overall, this place has great prices on drinks and may be a decent place to go to before heading to a nearby bar with food.“

“I Love this bar it is a great bar it just recently opened up again I'm excited for every weekend. Open mic on Fridays there's also stand-up comedy the bar is really coming together everybody should come down and have a great time with us. I consider myself as family with the bar because I live right next door and I'm there all the time and they're very kind and courteous to their customers. And it's a place of dancing pool games old school jukebox and great times..... Stay tuned more is coming“
“We stopped by Gizzmos between a wedding and the reception at the hall down the street. And when I said ‘we’, I mean about 25 guests! The only bartender/ wait staff was incredible !! She kept up with the orders and we all had great drinks. Bravo Gizzmos!!“

“Came in tonight for a girls Christmas party. Our waitress did amazing with so many women coming in at different times. She was attentive and made sure our drinks never went dry. She had just came back from a leave and with a new system, and a system error, she never acted stressed. I’m so happy we had our party at @sneakys again this year.“
