“Found this place as soon as we had made it to Michigan after driving over night. So very glad we chose this place over anywhere else! Great food, super friendly staff that provided amazing service! I highly recommend stopping by here if your in the are. Their French toast is out of this world. We be coming back on my next Michigan trip to get some more of that delicious breakfast food!“

“Enjoy the food and atmosphere at Gus & Us. Food is always pretty good. Had the GU breakfast sandwich with OM egg and bacon on a crossaint. I personally would change the cheese next time. Don't like american sliced cheese as much as other flavors. You can choose what type of bread to have it on. Ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy. Personally, I did not like the gravy. Tasted like Libby's from a can. I prefer the "homemade" type or even if I use the powder mix like Williams make but even GFS has a Blue bag that you make a large amount and mix with water to make similar to the Pioneer packs and a few other brands. Tomato slices were fresh and yummy. Omelet was a little overdone, but that can happen to make sure it is all cooked thoroughly. Coke products. Use to serve pepsi products. Bummer. To each their own, though. Otherwise, yes, we will be back. Love the hashbrowns. Not frozen shredded. Like fresh sliced, which are pretty good.“

“Stopped in for brunch after the parade today and was amazed. The food was sooooo good. It felt like I was on a mini vacation with all of the greenery and comfy seating. I’ll be back for dinner this week! On a side note, there was a great room for private parties!“

“Love this place! Their salads are the best. My wife loves the chicken version and I love the gyro version. Their gyro meat and tatziki are among the best I have had. The coneys are iconic and perfect. Finish off with some rice pudding if you have room. Sharing is always a good idea! We went for breakfast the next day and had the Dino special omelet. Fantastic!“

“Yesterday was my first time buying food from there. We had 4 pot pies homemade the beef one is called a Shepard's pie and 3 chicken pies.They were alot better than anything you buy in the frozen isle that's for sure and you get a hefty amount for the price 4 pot pies fed 6 people. “We just stumbled on this gem on our way through Windsor. The staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating to my 4 children. The food was very quick and delicious. I tried the Chicken Greek pita and it was delicious, very generously filled with meat on crispy/warm pita (yum). The side of fries were so crispy and the Greek salad was incredible. We will definitely come back when in Windsor!“

“Went here with a friend and got a couple gyro and the mushroom caps. 29.25 for that and 2 drinks, and it was one of the best gyro Ive had.A must try for anyone who likes greek food. Just be warned they only take cash, so stop at the bank before you swing by.“

“Great food and service. The boss had to move us to allow for a big party, by doing so we get a better table and drinks to boot for moving us. But the choice is food was great. We shared a combo platter, with lamb chops which were outstanding. We will definitely be revisiting this place.“

“I love that they're here! Downtown needs a walk-in, sit down, affordable place, and Athens fits the bill. You can have lunch in an hour, the food is homemade and delicious, and service is good. A perfect diner style experience. The homemade bread is a MUST - you can see them making it as you dine, and it comes with all of their yummy salads - the chicken Greek is my favorite. The dressing is also homemade and just so yummy. Something about it is just so much better than other places. It's creamy and tangy. I also really like their lemon rice soup. You really can't go wrong - pita sandwiches, saganaki, salads, all good, and you'll spend between $8 and $20. A lunch staple downtown for sure.“

“There are not too many places left to eat open 24 hours downriver. But I would pick this place any hour of the day. Everything I have ordered has been great. Working late shifts it's hard to find good food priced decently. Downriver Coney is on point.“

I usually go for the gyros or pitas but the coneys and chili cheese fries and chili cheese hash browns are fire ?. Breakfast is served all day if you’re in the mood and is always good. “We came to The Auburn Cafe with a party of 12, We had reservation. Everybody enjoyed their meals from the steak to the Grape leaves and kabobs. The kabobs come with only the meat cooked, veggies raw on the side. The Lemon potatoes were awesome. The service was very good and fast for as busy as it was. It was a nice evening out. Not a real fancy place but good food. Will visit again.“
