“My wife and I finally stopped in last Wednesday after wanting to try it for years but never being in the area during their open hours (Tuesday through Saturday 4-9). We were not disappointed. I had the Chicken Gregorio which was fantastic as was the stuffed pepper soup. My wife had the Chicken Parmigiana which she loved and the Ham and Potato soup which she said was delicious. The bread and oil was great as well. We enjoyed watching the train circling above. All staff were friendly and helpful. A great experience.“

“Let me just start off with this place is my favorite Italian restaurant ever hands down the best!! We typically get carry out and eat at home but last night 11/4/2025 we made reservations for my birthday to come in a dine in! The atmosphere alone was outstanding and the service was amazing. Now to get to the food...all our food was prepared with love and to perfection, I'm very picky about my spaghetti sauce but let me tell you their sauce is the best I've ever had i mean it. It makes me feel like I'm with family at home, and afterwards our waitress brought out little Cannolis for my birthday. As we were leaving restaurant the owner (I'm assuming that's who it was) took his time to ask us how everything was and joke around a little with us. I can't rave enough on how good this restaurant and food is!! Thank you so much for everything and making my day a wonderful experience“

“At the Southgate Mi. Carrabba's locstion, Tamika was a pleasure to have as our server! She was so polite and great to talk to. Lots of positive help. She offered some great ideas to try when we asked. One of my favorite entrees over the last three or four years has always been the pork tenderloin medallions with a very unique sauce. 😋 We both noticed that it wasn’t on the menu any more when I mentioned it to her. She apologized. She said “corporate” sometimes likes to have a different variety for there customers to try. She said that she would ask the cook to see if he could prepair it for me. She came back to our table and said that he could!! I was so pleased with my entree and thanked her very much for asking. I asked Tamika to give the cook two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻 for me for making that excellent tasting meal.
These are just a few of the reasons we always enjoy dining at Carrabba’s! My wife and I left feeling well treated by Tamika that evening. Oh! By the way, we also enjoyed the Blackberry Sangria’s as well!! 😋“

For the appetizer, I had the grilled calamari. It was perfectly tender and came with two sauces: one layered beneath the squid and another served on the side, both adding great flavor contrast.

“I had to prepare some food for a potluck, but I had a pretty full schedule. I called Liberati's and they were able to accommodate me on about 36 hours notice with 3 of their 3' party subs. They were on time and ready when I arrived and Frank himself helped to load them into my car. I wasn't ready for what came next: texts, mail, and messages all saying thank you for a great contribution and half of them asking me where to get them. You clearly can't go wrong with LIberati's.“

Plus, it was on a sheet of parchment/wax paper that was completely stuck to the crust & impossible to peel off! “I honestly don't know why it has taken me so long to write a review for Alpino because my husband and I love this place so much! It has become my restaurant of choice to celebrate my birthday for many reasons. I love that they keep the beautiful patio open even during the hottest of days (which is usually what it is for my July birthday), they have the best seasonal menu additions that use local ingredients, and their laid back yet elegant charm is exactly what we always look for. The food is amazing! We love unfussy food that lets the quality ingredients shine and the raclette with a touch of honey just makes me grin from ear to ear (not to mention the tomato soup that is out of this world). The Frulingzauber "spring magic" cocktail is my favorite of all time. I would drink one every day for the rest of my life if I could. Of course, none of this would matter if the people weren't wonderful at Alpino, but they are just as warm and inviting as the food. I loved that they all signed a birthday card for me when we were there last. This is definitely a gem of a place that you don't find everywhere.“

The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! “Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“The food was great; as was the service with Cynthia P, she pays attention to detail even extremely busy and has a great sense of humour. Since many people and their children have no concept of manners or consideration for others it is frequently exceedingly noisy.

Kid-friendliness: It is so kid friendly that staff are not allowed to ask parents to contain their children when said children are dangerously running around the restaurant unsupervised. Just imagine a tray full of food and dishes landing on a small child because the parents decided to neglect their child? Those same parents would sue the restaurant in a heartbeat when any such incident is their fault.“

Tiramisu was perfection, too, and excellent wine selection. Service was so friendly and attentive. Really cozy/intimate vibe.
