“This lil cozy place is a hidden gem in Southgate! We were recommended by our Ameriprise planner (thank you Shawn) down the road and this is my first time dining here. The food was fantastic with the Lobster Ravioli the best we both have ever had. I see others have commented on the food, so I will focus on the LOVELY staff... from the initial greeting to our fabulous server, Heather. Thank you, thank you for SUCH a lovely time and outstanding dining experience. Since I am from Southgate, I will say...skip the chain restaurants and make Vic's a MUST. We WILL be back again!!!! Highly, highly recommend. They have a tiny patio as well, if want an app and some wine outdoors. Enjoy!“

“Attended the June Bourbon Dinner and it was amazing. Tonight features Uncle Nearest which is one of my favorites. I think I’m partial to this location because I love the staff. Friendly and attentive. If you haven’t done one of the Wine Dinners I would encourage you to do so.“

My only critique is the chicken bites had more crumbs than chicken, and add a Cajun version of the alfredo because some people like spice lol otherwise I was satisfied with my order“

“I honestly don't know why it has taken me so long to write a review for Alpino because my husband and I love this place so much! It has become my restaurant of choice to celebrate my birthday for many reasons. I love that they keep the beautiful patio open even during the hottest of days (which is usually what it is for my July birthday), they have the best seasonal menu additions that use local ingredients, and their laid back yet elegant charm is exactly what we always look for. The food is amazing! We love unfussy food that lets the quality ingredients shine and the raclette with a touch of honey just makes me grin from ear to ear (not to mention the tomato soup that is out of this world). The Frulingzauber "spring magic" cocktail is my favorite of all time. I would drink one every day for the rest of my life if I could. Of course, none of this would matter if the people weren't wonderful at Alpino, but they are just as warm and inviting as the food. I loved that they all signed a birthday card for me when we were there last. This is definitely a gem of a place that you don't find everywhere.“

“This was my first time ordering delivery and it came steaming hot! Usually when ordering delivery from other places, the food comes cold and soggy. This was not the case with Roman Village. The food came hot and fresh, just as it would if I were to dine in. Delivery man was very nice as well. I will definitely order delivery from here again.“

“This place was quite delicious. I would recommend getting a 10:00 to 2 as opposed to the five to one like I did. That was all my fault! At least a 10/2 to would have had a better bread to meet ratio. Just my opinion! Lol. It was really good. But it definitely needed more meat and cheese than less! Close to the airport. They do take card or cash. Does have a parking lot. And a fun little police car out front!“

“My wife and I finally stopped in last Wednesday after wanting to try it for years but never being in the area during their open hours (Tuesday through Saturday 4-9). We were not disappointed. I had the Chicken Gregorio which was fantastic as was the stuffed pepper soup. My wife had the Chicken Parmigiana which she loved and the Ham and Potato soup which she said was delicious. The bread and oil was great as well. We enjoyed watching the train circling above. All staff were friendly and helpful. A great experience.“

“I had to prepare some food for a potluck, but I had a pretty full schedule. I called Liberati's and they were able to accommodate me on about 36 hours notice with 3 of their 3' party subs. They were on time and ready when I arrived and Frank himself helped to load them into my car. I wasn't ready for what came next: texts, mail, and messages all saying thank you for a great contribution and half of them asking me where to get them. You clearly can't go wrong with LIberati's.“

“Tonight I attended a wedding at C & G and could not be more impressed, and also pissed at myself for not patronizing this welcoming restaurant sooner. I’m lactose intolerant and allergic to chicken. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. “Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

We waited for a bit before our orders were taken. But the server was very professional. To took very great care of us. Was very apologizing for our wait. He may our visit well worth it. “New menu was amazing. We had the potatoes, the scallops, burrata, and mushroom with shiitake dish. Burrata was hands down my favorite, thing. Perfect combination!! This was actually my second time, I’ve been before for a friends birthday and we had a different menu…..the pomegranate ribs were mouthwatering delicious. “Tried Paul’s for the first time today; we wanted to try everything so we ordered pizza ribs fish and bbq wings. Everything was delicious!! We will be ordering again!“

“Up until tonight, which is New Year's Eve and also my birthday, this restaurant has been my favorite place to eat. Not only is the food spectacular, but the service has always been perfection...until tonight. Usually, the staff is so attentive, and I never have to remind them to bring anything. Tonight, so many things were forgotten and/or incorrect. The server had to be reminded twice to bring us bread. The butter was frozen, so it was impossible to spread, and, in the past, the butter was always room temperature, and that detail was appreciated. Next, my drink was forgotten and the server had to be reminded. My husband requested that his drink be served with dinner which it wasn't and delivered to the wrong person. My friend's meal was incorrect, so she had to sit and watch everyone else eat as she waited. The restaurant did give her a complimentary soup for the mistake, so that was nice. What was probably most upsetting was that we requested dessert plates for cupcakes that we brought and the server told us that we would be charged $20, just for using dessert plates! We weren't asking for a cake to be cut or served, just plates to put our cupcakes on and it was a $20 charge! Absolutely ridiculous, especially since we were a group of 7 that ordered drinks and dinner. So, we had to have our cupcakes in the parking lot. Last, the server told us that they could not split up a bill, so we had to sit there figuring out all the math, and the server used the cash that was part of his tip from one friend to reduce the balance from another friend's bill who was paying with a credit card. It was such a mess, and I was very disappointed. This used to be my favorite restaurant for years, but with so many mistakes, it's hard to want to come back, which is a shame because the food is amazing. My advice is to not come for large parties! I hope management fixes the training of their servers. It used to be outstanding. Not sure who dropped the ball so far.“

“We always have a good time at this Antonio's Although we have a newer and close location in Canton, MI we choose to go to the Dearborn Heights location. We went for Valentine's Day and after a brief wait at the bar we were seated. Our wait was about 20 minutes.“

Tony graciously opened the restaurant early for us from 12–3 PM, even though those are not their normal business hours, so our family could simply be together, share a meal, and spend time reconnecting after a very meaningful day.

That kind of kindness and flexibility is rare today. You can tell Del’s Pizza is more than just a restaurant — it’s a place that truly cares about people and the community.
