“I'd been wanting to try this place for years. A few days ago, that opportunity arose. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, bacon, onion, mushroom, and green pepper.

I thought it was really good. The toppings were fresh and the crust had kind of a chewy crunch. It was almost a combination of Mickeys pizza in Lincoln Park and Old Franks Pizza in Wyandotte, for those of you that remember.

It took quite a while for it to be delivered. Also, it has taken a while when I've picked up for doordash. They are a busy place though. So I understand.

Overall, this is a nice little local pizza place. I would definitely order from here again.“

“My husband and I saw a review of Sicily's, and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! We got the deep dish, and an order of meatballs, for take-out. It was an hour drive to get home. I had a bite of it while it was cold, and it was super good! I put the rest of the piece in the air fryer, and it was amazing. The sauce is fresh tasting, and the crust was crispy on the bottom, and chewy in the middle. The cheese on the edge was slightly brown, and crisp, just the way I like it. This was absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot in my almost 65 years! Meatballs? Another best ever! Tender and so much flavor, with a good amount of marinara, so that every last meatball has as much as you could want. It was DEFINITELY worth the trip, and well worth the money! I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! And to top it off, the Chef/Manager was SO nice and friendly! We had a very nice chat with him about the sourdough, and the restaurant, and how much he loves what he does. And you can tell! I highly recommend trying this place, they are about 1 block off of the freeway, and easy to get to.“

“Cannot recommend this place enough. WOW. Do yourself a favor and order the Ribeye, the Penne Pasta ala “no vodka” with chicken, the mushroom bisque soup, the Chipotle chicken bites with ranch. You will be so pleased. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. One of our top dining experiences ever. Birdies is my new favorite restaurant. Worth every penny. We sat inside because of the weather but could still see outside to the views which were beautiful.“

“(July 2026). First off, a big thank you to our server Jah'Qwan. He was just fantastic and really made our anniversary dinner extremely enjoyable. This was our first time dining at the Cactus Club. The atmosphere is definitely one of the best for an intimate dining experience - quaint, quiet, and a soft piano player. Very very nice. The lighting was perfect (we sometimes have a hard time seeing the menu since we are getting older :).
My wife had a 1/2 dozen west-coast oysters for an appetizer - they were just outstanding. She ordered the Veal with Risotto (it was good but definitely a shared dish as it was a large portion).
I had the Filet Mignon - cooked and seasoned perfectly!
The star of the dinner was definitely the asparagus - I know, weird, but this asparagus was probably the best I've eaten in a very long time, hands-down.
For dessert we had the Chocolate Torte - fabulous! We compared this to the torte we had at Bobby Flays' restaurant Amalfi in Las Vegas, and it was just better.
Overall, our anniversary dinner was one of the best. Accolades to Jah'Qwan, the cooking staff, and the young lady who makes the desserts. Thank you!“

“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“

“Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“

My boyfriend and I had lunch here yesterday and it was such a nice experience. The '80s and '90s theme is so cool! and the girl behind the counter who took our order was as sweet as could be. I wish I couldn't remember the name of the store owner, and I should have written it down, but what a genuine nice guy! The food was superior! I had the chicken and bacon ranch wrap which was so large that I had to take half of it with me. My boyfriend's Ringo Burger was so delicious and so fresh tasting. We also had the cajun fries and he generously offered a cup of French onion soup for us to try. All I can say is delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back again! “I had a wonderful experience at Planted Detroit picking up pansies for my wife. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and freshly prepared by the time I arrived — you could tell real care went into them. I had the pleasure of chatting with Darrion from operations, who was incredibly kind and helpful while they were putting the order together. It's rare to find that kind of genuine, friendly service these days.

I also got to try one of their salads, and I was impressed — super fresh, delicious, and packaged so compactly that it was easy to take on the go. Everything about this place reflects a team that truly takes pride in what they do.
