Red Rock Downtown Barbecue Reviews
Great food. Fast service.
We had a good time at Red Rock Smokehouse overall. We stopped in around 3 on a Sunday and were actually the first ones there. They were still waiting for some of the staff to come in, so things started off a little slow, but it wasn’t a huge deal.
We ended up getting the nachos and a few Old Fashioneds during happy hour. The Old Fashioneds were good and strong, and the nachos were really good too. We ordered them with brisket but ended up getting pulled pork instead....read full review

Red Rock Downtown Barbecue is a go-to place where the staff makes everyone feel welcome and at home. The BBQ is the best found in the area, with favorites like the baby beet salad with brisket, burnt ends, and baked beans. The Cobb rock salad is out of this world, with homemade dressings and freshly graded cheese. The BEST Mac & cheese and cornbread are available, along with garbage fry’s, burgers, wings, and more. The atmosphere is perfect, with cool lighting, lots of bar seating, regular tables, and outdoor seating. Two exterior doors keep the space toasty on colder days. A great happy hour offers half off beer and wine, plus discounted cocktails. The cocktail menu is varied, with a new summer menu and classics available. Street parking and a lot across from The Ypsy Farmers market are close by. Service is friendly and fast, though it can be extremely slow when busy. This place is a must-visit for out-of-town friends and a regular Friday spot.
