“A local Rochester, MN restaurant chain -now branching out to a new location- Newt’s (Apple Valley) brings everything we love about the Rochester locations (GREAT burgers, beers, and unlimited popcorn!) to our little corner of the Metro. We were stoked when we heard Newt’s had arrived, and our first visit there certainly delivered. The food and atmosphere were excellent. Great service too! Welcome to our neighborhood Newt’s. “We came here allot when they first opened in 2012. We spent the first 2 years as regulars here. Then… we came here twice in a row and they burnt our food to the point of being inedible. Today, after 10 years of avoiding this establishment, and now as a Google reviewer, I decided it was time to go back again. I have nothing bad to say about my visit. Must have better talent in the kitchen these days. Crooked Pint may start seeing me more often than never again.“

“Stopped in at Neisen's last Wednesday night to check out and scout the talent on their karaoke night. Excellent joint, large and spacious. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Very affordable drink and food prices.
Ordered a club sandwich with fries and it was absolutely delicious. Sandwich was toasted just right and lots of meat and veggie in between the perfectly toasted bread. Asked to have the french fries made crispy and they totally met the mark, golden brown crispy and not burnt. Tons and tons of parking.
El Gato's Recommendation:
Highly recommend Neison's for a bite and a pint. Stop and you won't regret it.

“I arrived near midnight. I was checked in quickly Great room. Coffee maker in the room. Enough closets and hangers Comfortable bed. Decent bathroom. Good shower. Enough towels I left early am and didn’t have any breakfast I would stay there again“

“On Friday night, August 11th, I got delayed in Bemidji by thunderstorms. I was supposed to land in Minneapolis by 7 and then go to the hotel for a quiet and relaxing evening. Instead, I arrived at 11:30 p.m., totally exhausted and frazzled. I had missed dinner and my husband called the hotel and asked if he could have a pizza delivered for me. When I arrived, I mentioned this to the women at the front desk. They smiled and told me it was already in my room! I then asked if there was any way I could order a glass of wine to also take to my room. They smiled and said the was already taken care of. When I got to my room, not only did I find a small pizza and glass of wine sitting on the table for me, but they had added a Hersheys Candy bar and a hand written card to me..all on their own!! I still have the card and will keep it as a sign to me of how kind total strangers can be. The card reads, "Welcome! So glad you made it safe. Here's a love token from your husband. Enjoy your night! Sleep tight. Love, HGI staff Give these women a raise!! They turned a very exhausting and stressful night into such a wonderful experience. I was only able to be in your hotel for a total of 6 hours, but I slept so well knowing I was so cared for! Thank you!!!“

During one of my visits, they accidentally dropped my order from my party's queue, but they immediately recognized the mistake, apologized sincerely, and even gave me my meal for free without me asking.“
