“Delicious! We dined in for the 1st time this past Friday as a family of 6 with 4 kids under 12. We were very pleased with the amount of food, quality of food and prices! It was refreshing to find a hidden gem. We traveled an hour to get here and will definitely be doing it again! 1919 on tap recommended to make the ultimate experience for the kiddos. “Classic "dive bar on the outside super nice on the inside" switcheroo. My friend and I wanted to get some food to go to take to a brewery that didn't serve food, so we came here. The places that look questionable on the outside always have the best food, and this is no exception. Our bartender was great. We shared the honey garlic chicken wrap (which was definitely big enough for two people), and it was seriously awesome. So were the tator tots - they tasted like potato oles from Taco Johns. The honey garlic sauce was excellent with a little bit of a kick). Plus, they had a pretty impressive tap list so we could have a beer while we waited. Would definitely go back.“

“This is the quintessential Wisconsin dive bar! Tucked on the corner of a residential neighborhood this bar has the best breakfast and Bloody Mary I've ever had. Bartender was attentive and food was quick and delicious. If I lived in La Crosse I'd be there every weekend for breakfast and a few drinks.“
