“always love the food at Buzzard Billy's. every year my very dear friend hosts his birthday party here and, as he is an older disabled gentlemen who loves people, every year he invites everyone he knows and I have to guess how many will show up. the staff here always accommodates our irregular group and shows great patience with those of us that need a little extra attention. This year, our server was Karen and she was incredibly pleasant, efficient, and understanding. I really appreciate her working so well with our somewhat difficult party. :)“

“Heading home to Green Bay from a hugh pool tournament in Minnesota, was getting tired - googled pizza , and Big Al’s- how can you go wrong! Lots of Minnesota money in my pocket I ordered 16” pizza, and the peanut butter cake! Pizza was great and I haven’t say I just ate the last bite of the peanut butter cake! All I can say is wow!! Headed back for some more Minnesota money next month I’m definitely calling my order into Big Als!!!“

“Our family came to Howies after my daughter raved about this place. We brought my brother and his daughter with. We got to sit up top so our waitress had to carry our drinks and food to up to us. If you haven’t met waitress Jessica W yet you must! She was a rock star! She kept our drinks full and got our food to us in a timely manner. She was so friendly and we all loved her. The food was dynamite! We loved the appetizers and our main meal. We will for sure be back and will be asking for Jessica again!“

“Sorry I did not post sooner. We were up for the Frostbite Beer Festival which was wonderful in its own right. We stayed at the Charmant Hotel which was just across the parking lot from Lacrosse Distilling. We had several meals there including a butternut squash pasta dish with shrimp that was phenomenal. Want to give a shout out to Addison behind the bar who was great. And Aaron too - the tour was awesome. I really enjoyed their barrel aged stout. It is on the thicker/more viscous side which I love. Thx for the tip on brewing this beer. Had several other beers which we also loved. Thank you again for a great time.“

“Pearl Street brewery is a pretty cool little brewery that moved into the old La Crosse boot factory; it's dark and industrial with low ceilings. They have lots of space with a little outdoor beer garden. They generally have 16 of their beers on tap with a few that well distributed. On my last stop they had lite, a lime, Brown, chocolate strawberry porter, orange hazy IPA, Hopped IPA, Pale Ale, amber wheat, hibiscus sour, citra IPA, Oat Stout, an aged sour, Belgian Quad, margarita sour, a double IPA, and a cucumber seltzer. The service and the patrons are friendly. It is worth a stop and you may catch a band on the right night.“

“If you want great Chinese food in the La Crosse area, this is the place. The only place. When I say I'm absolutely OBSESSED, I mean it. I bet I order here 1-2x a week minimum every week. Chicken fried rice, Crab Rangoons, and Pork Egg Rolls are my fave! I have tried every restaurant that has Chinese food in the area and always get the same thing, this place is #1, hands down. Great taste, fast service, friendly staff, and fair prices. Love, love, love.“

“Very relaxing, everyone so friendly and food was fabulous! We stayed at The Radisson to see the Rotary Lights. After, we went back, freshened up and went downstairs for dinner, very convenient. We asked to be by the windows with a view the lights while we ate but no seats were available and our table was set at a different location, waiting for us to finish our drinks. The gentleman that seated us, moved our table to a window seat that had just opened up without even asking before we went in. We were very impressed that he did this and it made our meal that much more enjoyable. The food was fantastic and would highly recommend. This is our 4th year going there for the lights and we would do it any other way! Enjoy!!!“

“My daughter's and I eat here or do take out, often. We love it. It's my 7 year Olds favorite place to eat, and she eats very well here. Food is always hot and delicious. There are lots of choices on the buffet. The stuffed mushrooms and hot crab salad are my absolute favorite!!!“

“Freaking excellent pizza. Garlic knots were fresh and delicious as well. Friendly service! Quesadilla pizza was just bomb. ? ? I would have gotten a 2nd slice if I wasn’t stuffed. Fantastic price — got combo 3 for much is 2 pizza slices, garlic knots, and 2 drinks for $16. Very reasonable. Bathroom also very spacious and clean! Always a plus in my book.“

“It's Little C. It's pretty good for what they have. The bites things are really good and the crazy bread and sauce is always a winner in my book. Biggest issue with this location is the parking. There aren't a lot of spaces and it can be a bit tricky when they are really busy“
