“My wife and I stopped by last Friday (9/12/2025). Our first choice (suggested by our host) was the Red Pines Bar and Grill, but after being notified that it would be a 45-minute wait, we decided to go to Angelinis. We are so glad we did! Our first time in a real Italian restaurant. The waiter, after giving me a quick lesson in the correct pronunciation of "bruschetta," was very amiable and professional. A wonderful young man! The food was fantastic. The service was excellent, but the lighting was a little lacking. Some people were using their phone's flashlight to read the menu. Added Angelinis to our "Must Return If In The Area" list! Well done!“

It was busy (Sunday before Christmas) so we expected a little delay. The tomatoes on the Benedict were supposed to be roasted but were a little too burnt, but everything else was great. “We had breakfast here. My husband ordered the special, homemade corned beef hash and eggs with homemade toast. I had steak and eggs with hash browns and homemade toast. It's been a few years since I've cleaned my plate and I definitely did here. Literally the best hash browns I've ever had. Over easy eggs were perfect for dipping that homemade toast. Steak cooked perfectly medium rare. If you haven't eaten here, you're missing out. Absolutely delicious!!“

“Our family came to Howies after my daughter raved about this place. We brought my brother and his daughter with. We got to sit up top so our waitress had to carry our drinks and food to up to us. If you haven’t met waitress Jessica W yet you must! She was a rock star! She kept our drinks full and got our food to us in a timely manner. She was so friendly and we all loved her. The food was dynamite! We loved the appetizers and our main meal. We will for sure be back and will be asking for Jessica again!“

“Wife and I like coming to Big Al's for the atmosphere and the food. But our waitress either distracted or didn't want to be there. Her greeting made us feel less welcome not like the other times we've been there. She took our order and bought our drink then left didn't ask if we wanted straws. Never came back to see if we needed refills. I went up myself to get them. It wasn't busy at the time we were there. As for the check. The bill came to 31.81 I gave her 51.81.She went to the bar and her hand were waving around like she didn't understand what to do. I saw her pick-up the coins and dollar bill put them back down in discuss. The person taking the money look as she didn't understand either. I walked up said the change was $20 dollars. We will be back. But will ask for a different waitress if we get again.“

“Just left there with friends from Iowa. outstanding food, great service as always. I even messed up my own order and our server whipped it right back to the kitchen and brought me what I actually wanted to order!!! It was my fault entirely. everything was delicious. I especially recommend the Creole Corn chowder and Armadillo eggs (not andouille eggs LOL) Thank you Karen for being a great server. I wished I would have tipped more. you went above and beyond for us!“

“It was a beautiful day to enjoy the patio! We shared shrimp tacos & smoked wings. They were both outstanding in taste. Smoked wings & delicious sauces were perfectly paired, best ever! Shrimp Tacos were also the best we've ever had as well. Fresh tasty shrimp with the most unique slaw ever. I wanted to order a bowl of slaw on the side! Beer was spot on & refreshing. Delicious IPA. Our server 'M' had an excellent personality was amazing, very attentive & made our experience there fabulous! Kudos to the cook & entire team here! We will certainly be back & will recommend as a must stop place! 👏“

“This place is the definition of “hidden gem.” From the outside you’d swear it was not a business, but step inside and suddenly you’re in the cutest, coziest spot ever. “They are know for slices. When I went in, there were 8 different pizza type to choose from. I had a pep and sauces, and a ham and pineapple. With a beer, it was only $11. The crust had a good texture, crispy on the bottom, chewy inside. The sauce was very good with a bit of tang.“

“If you love Chinese food, then this is the place for you. Best little Chinese restaurant in the area. Yes, there have been some changes in the menu and the restaurant, but they still beat every Chinese restaurant in the area. The buffets in this area have gone downhill for sure. China Star has great food. There's lots of returning customers who defend this place because we all know it's way better than the rest in the area. I love their steamed dumplings. I love their sweet n sour shrimp. I love their sweet and sour soup. Go get some today and rejoice at your good find.“

“Very relaxing, everyone so friendly and food was fabulous! We stayed at The Radisson to see the Rotary Lights. After, we went back, freshened up and went downstairs for dinner, very convenient. We asked to be by the windows with a view the lights while we ate but no seats were available and our table was set at a different location, waiting for us to finish our drinks. The gentleman that seated us, moved our table to a window seat that had just opened up without even asking before we went in. We were very impressed that he did this and it made our meal that much more enjoyable. The food was fantastic and would highly recommend. This is our 4th year going there for the lights and we would do it any other way! Enjoy!!!“
