“I ate here for the first time this week. And I felt that I was back in Thailand. I ordered Thai Noodle soup. (GUAY TIEW). I was stationed there for one year during the Viet Nam War, and ate Thai food every day. Went back to visit in 2019 for 3 months. Returning this winter to live there. Anyways, I have been to several restaurants in search for this dish here at home. And never could find one that was the same. Many were Vietnamese that served Pho and is not the same. It looks the same but the flavor is different. Only Thai cooks, especially from the Issan area have the secret recipe I guess. Guay Tiew is one of the top dishes in Thailand. Right up there with Pad Thai and Tom Yum, etc. I believe that it does not get noticed because there is not a long list of ingredients and spices like most dishes. Also had a perfect Thai Coffee and a Singha beer. The Lady that waited on me was the best one could ask for. Please try the Thai Noodle Soup, (Guay Tiew) for a treat.“

“Fantastic service. I have celiacs and they immediately let me know they will accommodate any allergy. Before I said a thing. Absolute gem of a place. Go support this business. They were friendly and great at customer service. 16 years of restaurant experience saying that. The food is really really good.“

“A Wonderful Experience at Nolas Southeast Asia Street Foods Last Thursday, February 6, 2025, I had the honor of doing business with Vancha, the owner of Nolas Southeast Asia Street Foods, and what a pleasure it was! Over time, we had communicated consistently despite our busy schedules, and I truly appreciated the seamless and clear communication—something that seems rare these days in both business and personal interactions. When I arrived at Nolas Southeast Asia Street Foods that afternoon, I was warmly greeted by someone with the biggest smile and an uplifting presence that made me instantly like her. It was Vancha, the owner. She was truly a ray of sunshine! I greeted her back and asked if she would like me to bring her purchase inside. Before she could even respond with, "Yes, please, that would be great!" a younger girl came around the corner, ready to help. I immediately assumed she was Vancha’s daughter (which she was). Two thoughts instantly came to mind. First, it reminded me of when my own daughter was young and would accompany me to work—whether to help out or simply because she was too young to stay home alone. Second, I was impressed by how eager this young girl was to assist. As a parent of three, I’ve always instilled in my kids the importance of helping out when needed, though that doesn’t always mean they do it! Seeing a younger person step up so willingly was refreshing. Another thing that caught my attention was how meticulously clean and organized the restaurant was—a detail I always appreciate. As we wrapped up our transaction, Vancha graciously handed me a bag of samples as a thank-you for doing business with her. I was thrilled, especially since it was already 3:00 PM, and I hadn’t had a chance to eat all day! As I got into my car, ready to head to my next appointment in Minnetonka, I reached into the bag and pulled out a cream cheese wonton. One bite, and wow—it was amazing! Unlike some places where there’s more wonton than filling, this one was perfectly stuffed. The cream cheese was warm, smooth, and clearly blended with something that gave it an extra delicious flavor. Later, when I got home, I tried the other samples, and they did not disappoint! I highly recommend Nolas Southeast Asia Street Foods—not only for the outstanding food but also for the welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service. Lastly, as someone who grew up in Eden Prairie starting in the ’70s and has spent most of my 50 years here watching the city grow, it’s heartwarming to see small and family-owned businesses continue to thrive alongside new ones. Thank you, Vancha, and Nolas Southeast Asia Street Foods—not just for the business but for the wonderful experience and incredible food!“

“We had a reservation for 7 - in the notes I specified 6 adults and a high chair. I could see our table had 7 adult seating's so I had to ask the hostess to fix that. Also specified we were there for a birthday celebration, again those notes must not make their way to the actual restaurant or they don't read them. When we checked in (we were 14 minutes early) for our reservation we were told we couldn't be seated until our actual reservation time. The restaurant had plenty of help and we didn't have our complete party with us which they knew and we were not expecting to order right away rather we just wanted to sit and relax. The food and waitress were great“

“I am glad I don’t live too close to this place because I would be here all the time. The chicken lettuce wraps were the best I have ever had with lots of veggies and flavor. I ordered extra spicy and it was perfect. We also got the chicken pad Thai which was also fantastic.“
