“Fat Pats was amazing! we stopped in on a Friday night and the place was packed. we placed a to go and sat down with some drinks. while waiting they brought us out a sample of the brisket and that was so thoughtful. the food was amazing, you need to try the nachos and fries with Mac and cheese and brisket. we will definitely be back!”

“Just recently started eating breakfast at this cafe. I have not been disappointed. I normally get an omelette with American fries. Absolutely incredible, couldn’t ask for a better breakfast. So, I started bringing my daughter along and she loves the pancakes. I recommend this place to anyone driving through.”

“Food was good. Service was about non-existent. The gal was on her phone. NEVER came back to our table. And, was basically right across from us. So, no refills. No, 'how's your food"? NOTHING. We had to finally walk over to ask if we could get our bill after waiting for her to get the hint that we were finished eating (it was a little while). When all she had to do was look over maybe 10' to see that. Not sure why the service was so bad, since there were maybe 4-6 other people in the place. She definitely needs to be retrained/have better people skills. It was on a Sunday afternoon. And, we were on the Root River Trail that afternoon.”
