food was amazing, staff was amazing
Wow...what an IMPRESSIVE dining experience! It's been a long time since we have enjoyed a night out so much. Food 'Molcajete Mexicano' was packed full of flavor and Jorge (bar tender) who waited on us was EXCEPTIONALLY kind; made us feel more like family vs patrons. And the margarita 'Texas Jumbo' was super delish! All of the staff we encountered were incredibly gracious and prompt to respond to any request. We will be back! Bravo El Loro!

EL Loro Lexington is a beloved neighborhood cornerstone with excellent Mexican food at reasonable prices. The menu has a lot to choose from, including the chicken grande burrito, which is the best ever tasted with amazing flavor, and the fajitas for dos, a go-to that never disappoints. Food portions are large, and everything seems fresh. Drinks are great, with a perfect large Michelada and a 2for1 house margarita special. The service is prompt upon arrival, with chips and salsa brought out shortly after seating. The staff is amazing, friendly, welcoming, and a joy to be around. Even when short on staff, they step up so customers do not feel it. The atmosphere is cheerful, and the restaurant is very clean and spacious. This community loves El Loro and is thankful to have them.
