“BOO to all the naysayers. I drive from Coon Rapids at least once a month just to breathe some non-city air and deal with down-to-earth friendly people. Have never seen or experienced any negativity towards anyone. Yes, it can get a little raucous and rowdy at times but THAT IS A BONUS!! They don't have a fancy menu but that's not what it's about. You can walk up to anyone in there and start talking to them and it's like they know you and you know them. The people that have had a problem there, I'M SORRY but . . . . . the problem is THEMSELVES. (sp???) whatever. LOL)”

Most sandwiches from subway taste the same regardless of the location, but some people just have that TLC touch to make things taste a little but better. Best sub I've had in a long time. I used to GM a Subway, as well as other restaurants and someone like Alexes would've been a blessing to have on the team!”

I think people forget Dairy Queen’s motto is fan food not fast food and so I am understanding that food take time to cook and that’s okay if there is a little wait .”

“I arrived just before closing time and the cook was still very enthusiastic and happy to prep my food. Being from Sebeka, we don’t have any Greek food in the area or Mediterranean food in general. I got the lamb gyro with rice, tomato and cucumber salad, and baklava. Lamb was thin and tender, veggies were fresh, baklava was just how I like it. Hadn’t had any baklava in years. Great food, great service, nice cozy spot to sit and eat and feel like you’re somewhere else in the world. Will definitely be back with more time on my hands. The platter was enough to feed 2 people for about $22. I did absolutely no sharing!”

“I have been going to Bo Diddleys for over 30 years and Bo Diddleys subs are the best except for the fact that they switched to Miracle Whip from the traditional Mayo. I remember them trying this switch years ago and they did end up going back to Mayo. At least give us a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo. Remainder of menu is great.”

“We had lunch today at Dolsie’s, which was delicious! We ordered some of the cupcakes to go at the end of the meal and just tried them. Jaw-dropping good!!! Don’t skip the cupcakes in the case- they aren’t just pretty- they have amazing frosting and fillings. Great little place and I think everyone in the family agrees we should definitely come back! Special place in St Cloud!”

“Purchased a pack of Ready to brew Raspberry Lemonade iced tea pouches at a shop in St. Joseph, Minnesota. The 4 large tea bags made the most delicious cold brewed tea! Each tea bag makes a 2 quart jar of tea. Kick up your feet and relax at the beach or lake with this tea. It’s fabulous!”

“Good coffee and friendly baristas. It’s a block off of St Germain, so they have plenty of parking. The building and atmosphere are top notch … there’s nothing like it the SC metro. Supporting locally owned downtown businesses is a good thing!”

“Our first time experiencing Canaan was a lovely one and could not have been happier. Ordered online and our order was ready quicker than the time window we were given so when I arrived I was able to grab and go home. Food was incredibly fresh and portions were perfect for the prices. The flavors were on point without a doubt and I chose the medium spice level which I learned was a little too much for me but even with that in mind, I enjoyed my meal thoroughly and plan on coming back many times.”

“I hate how they automatically charge 18% gratuity. I am old school. A tip is earned by the waitress not guaranteed. If my service is good I tip if it's bad it is low or I don't. I recommend dropping that 100% On to the food it was fast and delicious. we had crawfish, crab legs, small shells, hush puppies, crab cakes, scallops and lobster tails. It was all delicious. The only complaint about the food was that the corn tasted like field corn. However I wasn't there to eat the corn on the cob. I would go back here and eat in a heartbeat, if they dropped the added 18%. With the 18% I am not sure if I would come back very often. I would be more likely to go to another place without it first.”
