I was amazed to find out that the name Dairy Queen ? was not created after the owners wife who made great ice cream but a cow ? I mean it makes more sense to me now but I just wanted to hear some type of love story that the creator John F. McCullough had the baddest wife that was in the kitchen whippin up the most bussin ice cream sundays and blizzards!!! But I did someResearch and that was not the case, McCullough and his son developed a formula for soft-serve ice cream in 1938. he viewed the cow as the “queen of the dairy industry so he just named it “Dairy Queen” and now it’s 2023 and I’m still he enjoying this great establishment that was made in the 1940s! It’s crazy that you can create something and it will be here long after your gone just makes you think some times ya know !! “I was visiting my brother in Esko and we were looking for a place nearby for a light meal. I'm vegetarian but he's not, which limited our options. So happy we found this place. It's a lovely cafe in a pleasant town that serves fresh and delicious food. We were greeted at the door by the friendly employee who prepared and served our food. I had the egg sandwich on a bagel and my brother had the bowl, which we were both pleased with. Overall, a relaxing and satisfying experience.Vegetarian options: Egg sandwich“
“It was surprisingly not very busy when we visited after they'd opened at eleven. I use a wheelchair at times and it was easily accessible on the side near the restroom. I enjoyed my usual Wild Rice burger and my husband had a bacon cheeseburger. Pleasant conversation with a couple who sat near us. Grateful for Gordy's! Iconic place we have enjoyed many years - and planning on a few more times this season.Vegetarian options: Wild Rice burger ?!
