“We had our annual fantasy baseball draft in their separate dining room and it was an excellent venue. I've worked in the service industry a long time so I'm a little picky when it comes to pizza, and this is a very good one here. They really have the crust dialed in. Perfect crust. I tried the flavor burst, pinwheel, bacon cheeseburger, and some more traditional pizzas and they were all terrific. There's also a full bar and some great beers on tap. Owner is a friendly guy. Looking forward to next year.“

“We read a few reviews before deciding to take a chance: glad we did. Saw a few where people seemed to have gripes and moans you experience at any restaurant but had been to other food places in Grand Rapids and wanted to see for ourselves. I had chicken tetrazzini and it was great! Had to get a doggy bag for half because of the portion size,, really looking forward to finishing it off at home now. We sat in a booth, in the bar area, on a Sunday early evening with very few people, to be honest, and had great service. I don't know what time or day or who the cook was when some of these other people gave low reviews but glad I decided to give 'em a try! We'll be back!“

“Every year I come here to enjoy a breakfast when I am in town. I am never disappointed at the quality of food, the service and the professionalism of the staff, and the inviting homey feel of the surroundings. I recommend their muffins, biscuits and gravy, and their country fried steak. This year the only thing that changed is they no longer accept credit/debit cards as a form of payment. I think it may be inconvenient for some, but I really like the idea of not having to raise their prices to compensate for card charges. It is always a pleasure to come here to my favorite hometown diner.“
