“Used Google to find an "old school" bakery while in Duluth celebrating my mom's birthday. Johnson's did not disappoint. We bought 1/2 dozen assorted donuts and each and everyone was great. Fluffy yeast donuts, the cake donut was tender and their frostings were perfect. Not too sweet but also tasted exactly how you'd expect them to taste. I'll be stopping here for other items on every trip to Duluth from now on! Thank you so much!“
“First timer here. I had the ham and cheese croissant and the sourdough white bread loaf. Standard pricing compared to all other French style bakeries around the country. I travel often and I love to find bakeries. This is one of the top French style bakeries I’ve found. Great service and atmosphere, excellent location, highly recommended!“

“The cake was perfect for our wedding. She executed our vision perfectly with the buttercream mountains & trees and the greenery. It tasted wonderful.We also had a good experience when we picked up our cake tasting a few months prior. It tasted good with plenty of options to try. She made it look pretty in a box.My only concern was communication. In comparison to other vendors, her email responses were slow (1-2 weeks typically). However, I know she is very busy!“

“Literally just got a slice of the gluten free chocolate cake. BEST I've had in the 6 years I've been gluten free. I really had to convince myself to not go back for all of whatever of the cake you had in store. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!“
