About Cocina Del Barrio

Cocina Del Barrio offers an amazing cilantro rice and delicious pot belly tacos that melt in your mouth. The friendly servers go above and beyond to help and the in-house sauces are a must-try. The modern Spanish atmosphere adds to the experience, and the street tacos are recommended, just ask for them to come out slower to keep them warm. The space inside is beautiful, and sitting at the bar feels spacious and comfortable. Customers have noted that the food is generally good, with the Cuban sandwich being especially delicious, featuring juicy meat that doesn't sog out the bread. The tacos are tasty, though the shells can fall apart easily. The restaurant provides three different salsas—hot, mild, and medium—allowing guests to choose their preferred heat level. The service is attentive, with staff making sure drinks are refilled and orders are taken care of. While the food looks beautiful and arrives quickly, some find the flavor a bit bland and the drinks not very strong. Overall, Cocina Del Barrio is a great place for drinks and casual dining, with a lively atmosphere that can get loud as it fills up.

Overall they did great with our giant work group happy hour visit. The service was great especially for a Cinco de Mayo HH. The food however was super basic and drinks were not strong at all. Usually I'm feeling pretty tipsy after 2 margaritas and I was surprised I didn't feel tipsy at all.

Not much flavor… rice in burrito wasn’t cooked. Tables were sticky.

Love this spot for drinks! Great selection and sitting at the bar feels spacious and not cramped like some restaurants. Food is fine. It looks beautiful and comes quickly, but the flavor is a little on the bland side.

The space inside is beautiful! It does get very loud/echoy as it fills up.
