Hope Breakfast Bar - Edina Reviews
We had an amazing server Monique, at the Blaine location Sunday 12/7. In fact everyone we encountered that day was kind, helpful, and you could tell just happy to work there. Food was great, drinks were amazing. Monique at the end, really took her time as we shared a story with her and was such an impactful interaction!!!
We visited the St Louis Park location this morning & everything we ordered was disappointing. The salmon & pimento scramble arrived with grilled salmon pieces on top that were incredibly dry, as was the sourdough toast. Our order of the hope breakfast was incredibly salty & again, very dry toast. The bread tasted old. We also did a baby stack of carrot cake pancakes which were way too sweet. I wouldn’t go here if you want a relaxed breakfast. We spent over $200 and because we were sitting for 75 minutes we were asked to leave. It was embarrassing and the manager called me to “make it right” and all he did was quote their policy as if that should matter to my experience. They value profit over people, the rest is just a marketing ploy.

Hope Breakfast Bar serves delicious food with a wide range of options. The southern chicken and waffles, pork belly biscuit, and Paul Bunyan coffee are standout dishes. The restaurant has a cool, modern ambiance with a high-art vibe, making it popular among customers, often packed with people. While the service can be slow at times, the staff is friendly and accommodating, with waitresses being kind and patient. The environment offers easy parking and a variety of drinks, including many artisan coffee options like the banana bread latte. The menu features plenty of savory and sweet options, with generous portions. For example, the Hawaiian bowl looks and tastes amazing, and the avocado toast is enjoyed despite unexpected pickles. Despite some minor issues with service and seasoning, Hope Breakfast Bar is a great spot for brunch with a unique menu and welcoming atmosphere.
