After hearing about the UofM meat market it took a while to actually visit... it can be a challenge to get there since they are only open Wednesdays from 2-5pm. The shop is pretty small but they have a wide variety of meats and dairy products including beef, pork, lamb, yogurt, ice cream, etc. The pricing is inline with current supermarket pricing. Don't expect low prices. $7.50 for a pint of ice cream, $20/ lb steak, $8 for pound of bacon. I'm not sure about the quality yet, I assume it's good

Wonderful meat, cheese, and ice cream at great prices! The MN meatloaf is awesome!
