“Food is really good. We had their fish fry. The fish and sides were really good. The tarter was really bland. So, nothing to really complain about. The service was fantastic and they were beyond busy. For even came out in a short time. They do take reservations and I highly recommend it. Very popular place with great people.”

“Great bar with the classic small town clients. Only complaint was it seemed like someone blew up the toilet so bad it put it's 100+ year plumbing to work! I think I saw the lady coming out who was the culprit. She was mentioning her lactose intolerance due to eating pizza at the place across the street. I just can't believe someone would do that to a place with such rich history in the great town of Hampton. Shame on that lady!”

“So, on a Facebook post somebody asked about favorite local pizza restaurants. Yes there are quite a few good local ones, but scrolling thru the responses was Meric's in Hampton. Wow, this is truly a hidden gem. Wood fire pizza with excellent toppings with meat where we purchase our meat at. The garlic bombs are delicious. Our family knows were you are now. YUM !”

“This is such an amazing little jewel. We found this gem while traveling through Minnesota in need of some wifi and caffeination. We all were so impressed with the quaint décor, friendly service, clean facilities, and quality food and drink. I highly recommend Cannon Belles Coffee and Ice Cream to friend and foe alike.”

“The best word to describe this place is, nostalgic. A main stay in the community, family owned and one of a kind. This restaurant has been around for decades. When you go start with the broasted chicken. It is juicy and full of flavor. My friend and I split a 1/2 all white meat chicken dinner for only $16.95. I also had a bloody Mary that came with a very good meat stick. I love the old bar. Go on off hours if you don't want to wait. You will love this place!!”

“Came here for the first time for lunch. It’s a lovely small family run operation. They mostly do takeout but we dinned in.Service was awesome and the food came so quick. This is the best sushi I’ve had around this area! The rice is perfectly cooked and we appreciate that the correct amount of rice was used (so many places use too much rice). This will be our new local sushi spot.Thanks for providing great food at really good prices.”

“Nice little small-town pizza shop. Only 4 takes, so you might have trouble finding a spot to sit if they get busy.We got the biggest "bomber" pizza (without olives) for just over 30 bucks. I think they only have thin crust...the pizza sauce reminded me of spaghetti sauce, so if you like that, this is a good option.”

“4/2/24 Update: Tops - under new management - still a nod to our Fighting Irish! Restaurant was clean and had some nice upgrades (flooring, extra tables). Kids corner is gone which was a bummer but it's more upscale of a place without it. No beer license as of my visit a week ago but sounds like they are working on it.The food: we really enjoyed the food quality and taste! Portions were perfect too! Pastas have homemade sauce from what I could tell! Cajun dish could use more spice and the tortellini could use less but other than that, a great meal! Cheese curds were delicious :)New owner is wonderful and wants to please the community. Please come back out to Tops and check out the updated menu and fresh ingredients made with love!”

“I have recommended this brewery to anyone passing through or visiting Cannon Falls. Whenever I visit, they're trying out new flavors. During my last visit, I really enjoyed the 2 Day Weekend with Habanero and Lime. Their pricing on taproom and off-sale beer is good, the staff are helpful, and parking is easy to find.”

“Great staff. Seemed like they knew the big group of older gentlemen that came in before us by name, but were just as attentive and welcoming to us who were clearly not regulars. Love that small town bar and grill vibe. Food was good bar food-- usually restaurants put the bare minimum of jalapenos on a burger, but they pile them on which is always appreciated. I could've used a bit more tots on the plate, but for that price I can't complain too much. Will be back the next time I'm passing through!”

“My GF and I went here on Xmas Day because who doesn't want to try that at least once in their life?! We got the lunch specials and ordered like four entrees between the two of us, knowing we wanted to try a variety and would have lots of leftovers. They came with cream cheese wontons too. We got general tsos chicken, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken. All came with chicken. Fried rice and white rice. Soooo much food and it was absolutely delicious! Only thing I would ask for are some spicier options. Will be back many times in the future.”

“We stopped in from our drive from Rochester to Minneapolis for lunch on Tuesday. My husband and I got the chicken tinga tacos and an appetizer. Food was excellent. We were very surprised when our server said the boss comped our meal! It was a random act of kindness and he had no idea what kind of morning that we had. So thankful for the thoughtfulness. “Our go to bakery. My wife and son love all the baked goods at this place. Especially the brownies. They are not extremely sweet, which we love. We also love the fact that they use quality ingredients with prices that are VERY reasonable. Definitely stop by!”

“I ordered the original chicken sandwich. The chicken breast was actually so large that I had to cut the sides off to eat the sandwich. I think my whole meal was 14 dollars. Well worth it. The chicken was fresh and hot. And their rooster sauce they make in house, is delicious. The staff were very nice and professional. I would recommend this place to anyone.”
