“Bungalow Inn is a well-kept secret of an AMAZING spot for dinner, drinks, brunch and everything in-between!! We had dinner there and were BLOWN AWAY that every single thing we tried was EXCELLENT! Father’s Day brunch was BRILLIANT! $27 for literally ANYTHING you could want for brunch — I’m really picky about breakfast, if I’m going to shell out and not make it at home, it better be good! This FANTASTIC LAYOUT far exceeded our hopes/expectations. Do yourself a favor and TRY THIS PLACE! You will be glad you did!!”

“We recently got married (October 2024) and Lake Elmo Inn catererd our wedding. It was absolutely AMAZING! We had the prime rib carving station and the walleye as well as the duck soup and salad. Our guests are still talking about the food. We decided to upgrade to the "LEI Experience" which means each of your guests get a warm hand towel, an intermezzo sorbet, and a chocolate covered strawberry!!! We were over the moon with the service on the night of the wedding and all our communication with LEI throughout the process. Special shoutout to Kayla G. who was the most patient, professional, and kind event manager! She answered every single one of my (many) questions and she did so with a smile! On the night of the wedding, we were SO impressed with how fast the servers were able to get to each of our guest tables and keep the flow going. It was seamless, seriously. We cannot recommend Lake Elmo Inn Catering enough. They've total pro's and just know that you'll be in good hands. “We had been to this place when it was called Whiteys several times, but this was our first visit since the change in ownership.

First thing I noticed was they kept the fresh squeezed juice... YAY!!!! I enjoy a variety of cocktails, but a screwdriver with fresh OJ is near the top of my list. So big thanks for that.

I was perusing the menu and it didn't take long for me to notice the lasagna w/side salad. I am a lasagna hound and snob, and have tried it at many establishments over the years. This offering was outstanding, perhaps my favorite (not made by my wife, of course).

We will be back.

P. S. we used to boat on the river and visited Stillwater a lot, but not since COVID. Howard's has been on our radar for a while. Hearing more about it at the Wits Reunion show at the Fitzgerald motivated us to get it done.”

“We had Old Southern Bbq cater for our wedding and it was absolutely an amazingly positive experience! The director of catering, Amy, was so helpful and on top of everything. The catering team was absolutely wonderful! All of our guests ranted and raved about the food all night, especially the potato salad and the cornbread muffin tops. Would definitely recommend!”

“If we are going out for sit down pizza this is our go to spot. We moved from AZ two years ago and this is hands down some of the best we have found since we have been here. You can’t go wrong with any pizza, the Brussels sprouts are unreal, and every flavor of wing is good. Always great vibes here, family friendly, and the staff is awesome!”

“My daughter was hoping for some Boba Tea on our drive home from the Twin Cities, and we found this cute restaurant. The service was very prompt, and our server explained all of our options for the Boba Tea. She also gave my daughter a free token for the claw machine while we waited. She was nice and pleasant to us. The tea came in a cute can they made right in front of you. We will have to try dinner there the next time we are in Hudson. Great little gem for us to find.”

“I’ve had warm lobster rolls from 4 places in Boston and 2 places in Wisconsin, and DJ’s in Stillwater beats all of them! They have the biggest, freshest pieces of lobster and perfectly toasted bread. The shrimp po’boy was also great. Highly recommend this place!”

The pies are SO worth a visit and there are many other very good things on offer. But the pie is in a class by itself. Even my mother-in-law liked it😎The one I had was easily in my lifetime top 5 slices of pie.”
