Amazing food, clean, cheap ($15) for unlimited food, nice buffet, good variety (fruit, meals, sushi, dessert, etc..,) and good atmosphere
I can’t believe I’m here giving a 5 star to a buffet but they’ve earned it in every way. Mankato FINALLY has a solid Chinese buffet again! This has become our go to spot to eat in Mankato, and after years of trash Chinese buffets, it’s so nice to have a good one again. Panda Buffet and Sushi Bar is a Chinese buffet in Mankato. It has become a go-to spot for many people. The staff are remarkably nice, personable, friendly, and helpful. The food is fresh, delicious, and not greasy or plain. The Thai Chicken is outstanding, the wings are perfect, and the vegetables are crisp and vibrant. There is a huge selection of food, including good sushi and desserts galore. The dessert is light and fluffy and tastes amazing. The restaurant is super clean, well-staffed, and offers plenty of seating with quick seating right when arriving. The interior features beautiful chandeliers. They serve Pepsi products, do not charge extra for drinks, and have self serve ice cream from tubs. The meal offers an excellent value for the price. As a bonus, there is a lovely pond featuring 20+ lively koi fish. This family run business is warm and inviting, and always a great experience.
