“Pho was a bit too salty for me but there was a ton of noodles for the regular size and the meat portions were spot on. The fried pork belly was fried too long and dry for my liking.

The Mongolian Beef was alright and they tenderized it nicely. But it was nothing like their picture on the menu. Though this was the best dish I had there.

Fried pork intestines would be great if they had 2 options, fried until dry (like they are now) or just lightly fried/sauteed. I prefer my intestines more sauteed. It's too dry for my taste but I know some people love their intestines the way they are now.

Service was good and very friendly considering they were busy.

It was my first time here. I was more impressed by the atmosphere and service than the food. If I were to come back, it would only be to take some friends here for the atmosphere/rooms and service. I wouldn't order the same things but maybe something else on the menu like the wings, fried shrimp, curry, etc. Maybe I'll give the pho another shot but just ask for hot water so I can water it down some.“

“5 stars is not nearly enough stars for this place. I have celiac disease (severe wheat/gluten allergy) and when I saw gluten free cheese curds and gluten free fried pickles on the menu, I about cried. I haven’t had cheese curds or fried pickles at a sports bar since I was diagnosed 11 years ago. Their food is absolutely incredible- something you normally wouldn’t expect from a place like this. I’m so grateful to whoever created the menu!

Lots of bar games to choose from. So if you're not watching the game then go for the beer it's double up for a buck. And take advantage of some of their bar games. Will definitely go back.“

“I happened to find this place when my son had to have emergency surgery...first off, very friendly staff and regulars, could see the stress on my face and were so kind! But the best part, hands down, which is why I'm leaving this review 3 years later is bc Bob's steak sandwich (should be Bob's FAMOUS steak sandwich) was THE F’N BEST sandwich my son and I have ever had - to date! If fact, 3 years later and my son is still talking about Bob's steak sandwich being the best food he's ever eaten! So much so that for his birthday in a few weeks, he doesn't want a party or gifts, just to take a trip to the cities for his favorite dinner!“

“A classic Saint Paul neighborhood bar, with simple grub yet so affordable, a mix of Asian and American. All served as takeaway but you can eat it there if you want and the portions are gigantic. There's bingo two nights a week, a Friday afternoon meat raffle, and pulltabs/etabs. Locals are the majority of the clientele but for all its grittiness, it's a safe place with patrons who care about the establishment! Watch out for the parking lot. It's a dirt lot minefield of potholes that will destroy your transmission of you go faster than 1 mph.“

“Went for Bingo. It was fun, and the caller was great. The mini tacos were not good. It was just meat fried in a corn tortilla and a side of sour cream. For $13 it would have been nice to have a little salsa and shredded lettuce or cheese plated with it. Service was fine.“

“Niki is the best server ever at the Cottage Grove location. We come almost every Friday with our 6 kids. She knows what everyone likes to drink before they order. She is fun, attentive and an absolute pleasure. We will keep coming back!!! We’ve told others!!!!

“There's a handful of employees I'd like to give a shout out from this applebees, they're better than any other applebees I've ever been too. They are miguel, gabby, dakota, blake, amber and dakotas little brother. They're all very personable and makes sure that if I need anything right away they got it 👍🏻 I figure that the rest of the staff there are like that too but I just have had really good experiences with the ones I mentioned, as I'm somewhat of a regular at that place now. “My little brother says this Applebee's in specific has his favorite chicken wings ever lol. However my personal fave is Applebee's classic cheeseburgers & French fries! However I was a bit let down with my order from here, I ordered my favorite meal, obviously. & not only was the burger not cooked the way I asked for it to be (medium well) but it was under cooked which is never a good thing. I took one bite & unfortunately spit it out due to how pink it was still.. the fries were UNSEASONED (the seasoning on the fries is literally why i love them so much.) and were cold and slightly soggy...? I've eaten here over a year before this experience and back then I had a wonderful time, but this time at least as far as the actual food went was not a good time at all. But i will say the host that bagged and rang up my order was very kind. I enjoyed speaking with her. the only other thing Id like to say is there really should to be more standing room for customers when waiting for a table, paying for their meals, etc. The area they currently have I personally don't think is even big enough for 2 full booths. For instance i am 5ft tall and i was attempting to stand there with 3 other men, all whom were about average height/ maybe slightly shorter and to be completely honest it was so cramped that we were all touching shoulders... just made it very uncomfortable overall while waiting for my food/waiting to pay. Overall though this specific Applebee's franchise is alright. I just know of a few other locations that I personally prefer.“

“Honestly no one should complain about this establishment. There has been an attempt at gentrification and removal of Billy's on grand for an event that had nothing to do with the owners. The need to rebrand to Gather was due to pure hated for the new branding and traction this establishment was receiving.

The music was amazing when I went. Food made with love and I am sadden to see the decline in this business when this place is a true gem.“
