“I have a son who has Celiacs Disease and eating out is always a challenge. Not only is it hard to find places that can accommodate his dietary needs, it’s even harder to find places that have ‘staples’ that actually taste like he remembers before he had to cut out gluten. I heard about this place on a GF Facebook page and my wife I decided to make the 40+ minute drive from home as an end of the week treat. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The menu was actually hard for him to choose from so we almost let him try it all. We started with fried pickles and cheese curds, one of which was completely new to him, and the other which is a rare thing to find because of the batter and non-dedicated fryers. Both were amazing. For his main course he did fried walleye and tater tots. There was so much food that he was able to make it into two more meals the next day and they reheated perfectly in an air fryer at home. For dessert he had GF deep fried Oreos and ice cream. That dish was completely devoured with no leftovers remaining. My wife’s and my meals were not GF, but there was more options than we could handle and those dishes were also amazing.

The ambiance was typical of a small town sports bar/pub, which is again a rarity in terms of finding that kind of food in that type of establishment. Our server was very friendly and the person who delivered the food was equally friendly. I suspect he was an owner or the manager and he answered additional questions we had about the food prep and handling of the GF ingredients and cooking. We will definitely be making the trip back!“

“Bar tender looked amazing while doing a Great job of serving an intensely concentrated rush. This establishment gets a five stars but I will criticize that the bartender was doing such a good job and was so focused on her work that she couldn't give me her number. I decided to take a picture of their grounds from the back of the bar and it is the best of any I have uploaded or been rated for. I might have been banned from the bar for being weird but I absolutely love this place!“

“Great little dive bar. It's cash only but they do have an ATM on site. Small patio as well. Bat tenders are friendly. There's good music playing and pull tabs.... And they have a great daily happy hour. A fun little place and we will definitely be back!“

“When I eat I drink Bloody Mary's they just taste better with my food if I feel like a drink, let me tell you I had a very reasonable priced Bloody Mary and it was on Point I could taste everything in the drink a first for me and it had all the fixings as well, I appreciated that. They also have a place too eat Pop's and Son grill I ordered 4 wings and a brisket topped Baked potato I asked for my wings hard didn't get that but they tasted ok and the brisket was not a lot but also good I didn't bring my wings back because they seemed real busy they brought me someone else's food at first them my order and I appreciated Who I assume was Pop came and talked to his customer's checking on them and their food they gave us A 1 service I work in kitchen's and understand things happen sometimes it's how you react to the situation and after that matters the most and they gave the all. I will try them again because they food is good, and they fact they was busy, busy so that let me know a lil sum People like they food I was also asking people in the line about food and if they been here before and I got more yes than no and good food I heard ok Pop and Sons I'll be back..the bar also had karaoke A good time was had Thanks Cheers“

Its just very annoying and false advertisement. They literally got their menu redone but couldnt edit out the cabbage part/picture?? Make it make sense. I am curious what is the owners excuse is. Sometimes i order the papaya to go and ask for cabbage and they say its for dine in only but when i order it dining in, they say it doesnt come with cabbage. 🤨. “food was good as always, waitress was on top of refills and very friendly, downside to that place is far too many car side to go spots, barely any regular close to the building parking, and cant really tell if parking is for hotel adjacent to the restaurant or actual Applebee's parking. I would go back and rethink the car side to go spots making it only two vs 7 freaking spots.“

“I placed a pickup order and, after getting home, realized my usual Traditional Hot wings didn’t taste quite right. I tried to overlook it, but I just wasn’t a fan, so I called.

Damien took care of me right away and told me to come back in and that he’d handle it. He not only replaced my order, but offered desert and whatever else he could to ensure things were right!
