“food was good as always, waitress was on top of refills and very friendly, downside to that place is far too many car side to go spots, barely any regular close to the building parking, and cant really tell if parking is for hotel adjacent to the restaurant or actual Applebee's parking. I would go back and rethink the car side to go spots making it only two vs 7 freaking spots.“

We had no time to look at the bill, discuss who’s paying for what and how much of a tip to leave. She stood right there while I dug through my purse for my money.“

“I have a son who has Celiacs Disease and eating out is always a challenge. Not only is it hard to find places that can accommodate his dietary needs, it’s even harder to find places that have ‘staples’ that actually taste like he remembers before he had to cut out gluten. I heard about this place on a GF Facebook page and my wife I decided to make the 40+ minute drive from home as an end of the week treat. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The menu was actually hard for him to choose from so we almost let him try it all. We started with fried pickles and cheese curds, one of which was completely new to him, and the other which is a rare thing to find because of the batter and non-dedicated fryers. Both were amazing. For his main course he did fried walleye and tater tots. There was so much food that he was able to make it into two more meals the next day and they reheated perfectly in an air fryer at home. For dessert he had GF deep fried Oreos and ice cream. That dish was completely devoured with no leftovers remaining. My wife’s and my meals were not GF, but there was more options than we could handle and those dishes were also amazing.

The ambiance was typical of a small town sports bar/pub, which is again a rarity in terms of finding that kind of food in that type of establishment. Our server was very friendly and the person who delivered the food was equally friendly. I suspect he was an owner or the manager and he answered additional questions we had about the food prep and handling of the GF ingredients and cooking. We will definitely be making the trip back!“

“When I eat I drink Bloody Mary's they just taste better with my food if I feel like a drink, let me tell you I had a very reasonable priced Bloody Mary and it was on Point I could taste everything in the drink a first for me and it had all the fixings as well, I appreciated that. They also have a place too eat Pop's and Son grill I ordered 4 wings and a brisket topped Baked potato I asked for my wings hard didn't get that but they tasted ok and the brisket was not a lot but also good I didn't bring my wings back because they seemed real busy they brought me someone else's food at first them my order and I appreciated Who I assume was Pop came and talked to his customer's checking on them and their food they gave us A 1 service I work in kitchen's and understand things happen sometimes it's how you react to the situation and after that matters the most and they gave the all. “My husband and I live 40 minutes away and we specifically drive to this restaurant for the best authentic Mexican ever!
We always eat Beria or fajitas, but we are just there today and we tried two different soups and they were so phenomenal.

The staff is extremely amazing and attentive. It is a great fun vibe and all the local locals have good energy. Highly recommend this place forever. Looking back to go again in the next few days.“

“Bierstube is a family owned business that is laid-back and where you don't need to dress up, you just go as you are. Lots of friendly patrons who are regulars and for the most part, all seem to get along. And what makes this place so special is the bartenders Jamie, Sam and Misty. They are what makes the atmosphere enjoyable as they navigate friendship with the customers and staff. They want people to have a good experience and make sure to engage with you and everyone else who comes in. The food is excellent especially the New York strip. It is actually better than Texas roadhouse in my opinion. The Reuben, Reuben bites, burgers & German food are a common customer choice. I recommend this place. If you just wanna kick back release some stress and enjoy conversation with others. Or if you just wanna sit in a booth and be more private, you can do that too.“
