The food here is absolutely outstanding. It’s a hidden gem in the area. Best food by far in Aitkin County. I can’t stress enough how good the food is. My husband always gets the meat hammer sandwich. Last night I tried the special which was a sirloin steak and shrimp with au gratin potatoes and mixed veggies. In the fall they had a special Oktoberfest menu which was really fun. A gem of a restaurant on Horseshoe Lake in McGregor, MN. It has a popular bar and a couple bocce ball courts. The food is expertly prepared with the right mix of spices and always fresh ingredients. At times, specially in the summer, it can get busy so reservations are encouraged. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable

We have had a great dining experience every time we have gone to the Blue Moose! The food is DELICIOUS! NOT, by any means, your typical bar food!!! The people are friendly!
