“I finally made it to Marty’s Deli and while I am not a breakfast sandwich kind of guy, this is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! The taste and texture were super fresh and scrumptiously delicious; and it satisfied me for several hours! I will be back to try a lunch sandwich in the very near future.“

“Hands down one of the best buffets I’ve ever been to! Tinucci’s in Minnesota completely exceeded my expectations. From the perfectly cooked fish and juicy chicken to a fresh variety of nine different salads and a dessert table that felt like a dream—everything was incredible. But the true star? The prime rib. And yes, I got the coveted end slice—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was phenomenal—warm, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. What made it even more special? The owner's grandson was there, helping out and greeting guests with genuine kindness. It’s clear that Tinucci’s is more than a restaurant—it’s a place built on family tradition, pride, and community. This family-owned gem has been serving Minnesotans for over 70 years, and you can feel that legacy in every detail—from the food to the service to the atmosphere. I never would’ve discovered this hidden treasure if I hadn’t followed the Hidden Places in MN page, and I’m so glad I took the chance to venture out. If you haven’t been to Tinucci’s—go. “Hands down my favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. The most authentic East Coast deli experience to be found in MPLS — only made better with an incredible Midwestern family-style customer service. Whenever I'm craving the comfort of a pastrami sandwich or potato salad (seriously, don't miss this), need to boost my morning with a power breakfast sandwich, or feel the need to health it up with a Southwest Turkey Wrap, I bee-line for Brothers. When crunched for time be sure to order ahead with Ritual app. Never disappointed.“

“After hearing about the UofM meat market it took a while to actually visit... it can be a challenge to get there since they are only open Wednesdays from 2-5pm. The shop is pretty small but they have a wide variety of meats and dairy products including beef, pork, lamb, yogurt, ice cream, etc. The pricing is inline with current supermarket pricing. To date, we've only tried their potato sausage and it was very good. We also picked up a package of Butcher's Blend (beef brisket, beef sirloin, and pork belly) which we are using for burgers tonight. One additional thing I noticed was that they had smaller cuts of certain meat... for instance, the pork butts I normally find are about 10-12 lbs. I was able to get one here that was only 6 lbs. That's a much more manageable size when smoking a pork butt for just my wife and me. The quality is very good, the prices fair, and you're helping out the Ag programs at the U.“
“Kind of expensive.It's good to have food located in a building that is rather far away from shops and restaurants.Very clean and tidy.Nice tvs to watch while one eats.Cozy patio for eating.It's nice that it has its own entrance to the building.“

“I was staying in the University of Minnesota and this place was a life saver when I did not want to eat in the dining hall. Their falafel sandwich was genuinely some of the best falafel I have ever had and their fries were undoubtedly the best fries I have ever had. The service was super quick and we got our food in under 10 minutes consistently. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere to it. Would strongly recommend if you are in the area!“

“This place is great and the food is always FAST and somehow always HOT even when you get it home. We have tried wings, catfish, shrimp, mac n cheese bites, jerk chicken rice (fire!), and Philly rice. Everything has been good. Definitely a little hidden gem.“
“Ordered takeout from Oasis for the first time last week. The hummus, baba ghanoush, and grape leaves were all excellent. I loved the smokiness of the baba ghanoush - so much flavor. The falafel was really good too. The roasted veggies and salad were fine, but not memorable.“

“If CUSTOMER SERVICE was a class to graduate from,then I would say CODY has gained a MASTERS in experience from me. During the visit I had came LATE, looking to “hurry before they closed”. When I got there of course, THEY WERE CLOSED. “Local, corner store. Have a little of everything, and variety of different cultures food and drinks.
May feel like a rough area but its overall pretty decent. The folks who run the store are nice gentlemen and are always respectful.“
“This food was absolutely AMAZING! we ordered the chapati (huge portion), sambusas and chai tea. Everything was made fresh to order and the very friendly staff offered me a complimentary dessert. Perfect quick stop after skiing at Battle Creek that far exceeded expectations! My kids and I all enjoyed it.“

“Joe's market is a fun place. Small convenience store with a little bit of everything. Stopped by to get some pop with real sugar in the glass bottles. They have Mexican Coke and Sprite. Also Jaritos flavers and my favorite Americana Cherry Coke. They also have some desserts and hot food thst changes daily.“

“I’m working on a project here from Tennessee when a coworker took me to Buon Giorno for lunch. As soon as you walk in, the fresh bread aroma is amazing. On my second visit to the Pasta Bar, Kyle the Chef actually remembered what I got the week before. The made to order pasta is awesome and make sure to get the fresh bread that goes with it.“
