“After hearing about the UofM meat market it took a while to actually visit... it can be a challenge to get there since they are only open Wednesdays from 2-5pm. The shop is pretty small but they have a wide variety of meats and dairy products including beef, pork, lamb, yogurt, ice cream, etc. The pricing is inline with current supermarket pricing. To date, we've only tried their potato sausage and it was very good. We also picked up a package of Butcher's Blend (beef brisket, beef sirloin, and pork belly) which we are using for burgers tonight. One additional thing I noticed was that they had smaller cuts of certain meat... for instance, the pork butts I normally find are about 10-12 lbs. I was able to get one here that was only 6 lbs. That's a much more manageable size when smoking a pork butt for just my wife and me. The quality is very good, the prices fair, and you're helping out the Ag programs at the U.“

“I’m working on a project here from Tennessee when a coworker took me to Buon Giorno for lunch. As soon as you walk in, the fresh bread aroma is amazing. On my second visit to the Pasta Bar, Kyle the Chef actually remembered what I got the week before. The made to order pasta is awesome and make sure to get the fresh bread that goes with it.“

“I was staying in the University of Minnesota and this place was a life saver when I did not want to eat in the dining hall. Their falafel sandwich was genuinely some of the best falafel I have ever had and their fries were undoubtedly the best fries I have ever had. The service was super quick and we got our food in under 10 minutes consistently. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere to it. Would strongly recommend if you are in the area!“

“This food was absolutely AMAZING! we ordered the chapati (huge portion), sambusas and chai tea. Everything was made fresh to order and the very friendly staff offered me a complimentary dessert. Perfect quick stop after skiing at Battle Creek that far exceeded expectations! My kids and I all enjoyed it.“

“Joe's market is a fun place. Small convenience store with a little bit of everything. Stopped by to get some pop with real sugar in the glass bottles. They have Mexican Coke and Sprite. Also Jaritos flavers and my favorite Americana Cherry Coke. They also have some desserts and hot food thst changes daily.“
