Good Chinese takeout. Was visiting Minneapolis after a long absence and wanted to have some classic Midwest chow mein. It was good but not the dark brown thick chow mein I remembered. It tasted pretty good, but was more like a clear chop suey sauce. Chicken wings were not good. They tasted very greasy and like old rancid oil. But our wontons were great, crispy and light.
I'm updating my review here. I just ordered the wrong thing. The Lo Mein is what is to order. I personally say no cabbage, keep the carrots, but you give them a try. There's something about fried lo mein with beef that doesn't feel super oily and you get a ton of it that I should've ordered it in my first time visiting here. I've been ordering that ever since four years now and while it's not the most transcendent meal I've had in my life, it's very good and I keep ordering it
One of my favorite gems in the wall! I’ve been a customer since I was 11 years old. The food is fresh, good and always hot! I usually get the large chicken fried rice and add shrimp, FIRE!!
