“4 out of 5 times the food is good on average for me. I'm impressed at their speed and that they always get my order right. Every now and then some... weird taste is in my food, but for the most part they are doing great given the busy location.“

“I have never really paid much attention to the staff at a restaurant such as McDonald’s, especially since they have moved away from human interaction and switched to everything being kiosks and digital ordering. However, I was so deeply impressed at this location. I have never seen a restaurant outside of the fine dining category with as nicely dressed and polite staff as this McDonald’s. Every staff member I interacted with was dressed so well they would not have been out of place in an office building did they not have the McDonald’s logo on them.

Very impressed, obviously management has a standard they uphold that is difficult to find in today’s fast food.“

“I grew up on McDonalds…with all the hype and glitter…great commercials, busy atmosphere, more food…This what I get now…a sandwich in a dome brown container, a large fries in the small package container, and you don’t get soft drink refills…

Dietary restrictions: They make customized order…like order no salt to your burgers and fries.

Kid-friendliness: The kids have a great time at McDonalds play area…family enjoys their time together…I even saw a child eating on their mom lap; while mom was knitting.“

“This is my go to McDonald's. They have online orders. They have two kiosks in the store and a checkout counter so ording is always a breeze. The staff have all been friendly and helpful. The app always has good deals. They keep the store pretty clean considering the traffic they get. Seating is nice. They have public bathrooms. And I've yet to have my order messed up here which is amazing.“

“Columbia Heights location was very good with my special sandwich I always have when I'm going to McDonald's nowadays it's the number 6 fish fillet sandwich with mayonnaise pickles lettuce tomato and two slices of bacon they made it correct it was delicious but unfortunately they said that you got to be let him buy an employee to the bathroom because the students from whatever high schools around here we're doing some Tick Tock challenges and damage to the bathroom. So outside of that I will be going back again“

“Sometimes crowds form around the building, making it hard to get in. The staff shouldn't be required to secure the premises, third party security guards should be responsible for that. Sometimes the staff are too stressed out when they have to deal with abnormal situations that, although usually immediately addressed, can distract them from their jobs and customer service sometimes is hindered for it.“

“This place can be hit or miss on the food. Highly recommend going during busy times or you might get something that's been sitting awhile. Staff is always pleasant and efficient.
I don't go very often but have never received a wrong order.“

“Stopped in for breakfast and coffee — the coffee is definitely the highlight here, consistently hot and flavorful. The food is solid overall, about an 8 out of 10, with the hash brown being a personal favorite. That said, for nearly $3, it’s disappointing when it arrives cold, which has happened on occasion.

They're currently running the Monopoly game, but unlike some locations, this store uses game piece cards instead of placing stickers on the packaging. Because of that, the staff sometimes forgets to hand them out — something to watch for if you're participating.

Despite those minor issues, the overall experience at this location has been great. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is well-kept. Easily the best McDonald's in the area in my opinion. I’ll definitely continue coming back.“

“I have to say I am biased here, I grew up with ‘Donalds😁The $5 meal is amazing, I have the chicken sami and I get fries, nuggets, & beverage! What a value whether you are a fan or not…I am an unabashed fan myself😁👌

“This McDonald's is terrible. The food is good but it is not worth the hassle of what you have to go through. Starting off with they have gotten my order wrong so many times. one time when I ordered online on Thanksgiving to pick it up at the location and no one was there and they said I had got my order“

“Let me tell you about two young employees at this McDonald's who waited on me. First.there was a young man. He was very polite, attentive, and helpful. I greatly appreciated his service. Another young lady, when I came up to the counter to get an additional condiment, after a long time and the encouragement of another employee who told her there's someone At the counter who wants some help, she finally came up to me. She just looked at me. She didn't't smile, she didn't say how can I help you? She did get the item for me but I got the feeling she really didn't want to do that. I felt that she thought that I was bothering her. Now back to the young male employee, he was very nice and polite. I hope the young lady working there acts more like her coworker. Historically, McDonald's was known for having very good service. However I think the younger generation who works there does not always have the cordiality of their predecessors. Show your customers that you like them and you're glad they stopped by. Thank you to the employees who still are great! PS I just read this review out loud to my niece and she said if people don't want to wait on customers, maybe they should work a different job.“
