Great independent coffee shop a block from Lake Nokomis. Good coffee, real food beyond pastries, and a shady patio that beats every chain in the area. Friendly folks behind the counter who remember regulars. Grab a cup and walk down to the beach. Closes at 4, so go earlier than you think.

Delicious coffee, tasty pastries (almond croissants!), and friendly staff. Also, it’s great the owners live in the neighborhood and are regularly working behind the counter. Get a pound of coffee beans while you’re there!
