We absolutely love the atmosphere. The Poutine tasted amazing. The place was very busy but for a good reason. I recommend going early for faster service and more seating options. We also ordered the smokehouse sampler. The porketa was very flavor and moist. The ribs and brisket came cold and chewy sadly. We will return to try more menu options.

The food was good, the staff were very busy as it is a popular place, but efficient and friendly. There are lots of beer choices. Relaxed atmosphere, but very loud. I would recommend this place and have returned many times.

First time trying this place. I have had some really solid bbq before, (Franklin's in Texas, and Pappys in St Louis, to name a few), so I know a thing or two when it comes to good bbq. I ordered the brisket and bbq chicken with baked beans and mac and cheese for the sides. I will start out by saying the sides were bad. The mac and cheese tasted like a peppery velveeta was poured over it, and the baked beans had some type of vinegar based sauce, (nope not SC bbq unless it was poorly done) neither were appetizing. The brisket and chicken, however, were very tasty. The brisket had a nice smoky flavor with just enough seasoning, so it didn't take away from the taste of the beef. They also did a good job trimming the fat cap, leaving enough on for the beef to be rich in flavor. My only critique here is that it lost some of the moisture when it was kept warm throughout the day. I understand that's fairly standard practice, but a critique is a critique for a reason. The bbq chicken was shredded and was tasty overall. I would have like a little more smoke on it, but that's just my personal taste. Overall, a 7/10 for the solid meats, and because I'm not going to a bbq place for the sides anyways.

We came just after a big rainstorm, but they have a nice patio that was shaded. We got the brisket bowl and the brisket Ruben. The best patio of the bowl was the hush puppies and the brisket. I really wanted to love the smoked mushrooms but it was pretty meh. I also think I would have loved it more if the food was warmer than lukewarm. They should consider selling the hush puppies as a side or app. I’d go back just for them.

The food was expensive for the amount received. There was a 7% upcharge that was added to the bill. A waste of money. I will never go there again

The experience was awesome but the burgers had no flavor, also the wings in my opinion is overpriced, also of you don't like spicy food be aware that one the burgers have jalapenos.

Their menu makes bold claims about their wings, but they deliver. The dry rub BBQ wings had crispy skin, but we're still so juicy inside. The light rail pale ale is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, and the cheese curds are light and fluffy and so good.

We visited Northbound Smokehouse today and were underwhelmed. The food was just okay, but the experience was marred by several issues. The cheese curds were mostly burned, making them unpleasant to eat. Additionally, there was no dessert menu, which felt like a major letdown. The water was served tepid, not the refreshing cold you'd expect. The waiter was absent for long periods, leaving us unattended, and the noise level was quite high, making it hard to enjoy our meal. Overall, not impressed. .
