It was quiet on Friday evening so it's good for conversation. There were many big TVs showing different sports. I like a fairly quiet sport bar so the atmosphere is appropriate for my personal taste. I ordered through a QR code on the table and I only liked water I had to get it myself. Therefore not much for me to talk about service other than when the food was not to us. Smorgie's is a restaurant located near Target Field and Center, perfect for before Timberwolves and Twins games. The vibe is great, and the staff is always friendly, fast, and willing to help. The ordering process is easy: find a table and start a tab using a QR code and credit card. The smash burger is delicious and recently won an award in Minneapolis. Other menu highlights include the walking taco, Carl's Chicken Sammie, pickle fries, and tater tots, which are hot, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. Kids menus are good, and the carrots are very tender and sweet. Portions are very generous, and prices are very reasonable. There is also a basement for games and added fun. Whether before a game or concert, Smorgie's is a great spot for fast service and amazing food.
