There is nothing bad I can say about Wood + Paddle Eatery. Everything from the service to the food was top notch. I know others have noted their smaller menu, which is true, however I had a number of items on their menu that I want to come back for. The quality of the ingredients and the flavors were spectacular. We had the Caesar salad to start, which was served split which was a nice touch. The service was great and the food was very good. Limited menu for dinner but enough of a menu to keep it interesting. The dessert looked good and the person who had it was satisfied. Reasonable prices for downtown Minneapolis.

We crossed 7th Street from the Marriott City Center Hotel to breakfast at Wood & Paddle. Great decision! Upscale but very casual atmosphere off the lobby of the Royal Sonesta Hotel. My two colleagues and I all rated our menu items as excellent. Star of the breakfast was the thick cut bacon and the pastries - croissant and English muffins.
