“Food is excellent, top notch Mexican-American breakfast cuisine. Service is quick and polite, free refills of good coffee. Ambiance is classic modern breakfast cafe, no surprises. Been a long time since last I visited Fat Nats, a Twin Cities landmark. Frankly, I forgot how good it is. Get here early, or be prepared to wait in line - but not too long, since they have lots of tables, and they work fast, making tons of food every day. Fat Nats is locally famous for their pancakes, which have extra vanilla and above average taste of yeast. They also make a variety of egg dishes, some delivered with their house salsa, which is a peppy, chunky red delight. They also have a green salsa, a blended tongue warmer. Don't get either if you don't like spicy heat. I love spicy heat. Prices without coffee are under $15, and you might need a container for half of it. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. Great food, great place to eat.“
“This was one of the best IHOP I have ever been too. The server was super knowledgeable on celiac and gluten allergens and double checked everything for us before putting in our order. Food was great atmosphere was great and the places was very clean and tidy.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free“
“Our group of 11 went in for breakfast on our one sons bday. We aren't from the area. Everything was absolutely great. From our waiter (I didn't catch his name) being so kind and welcoming, to our food that simply amazed all of us, to the souvenir mug that I got for our other son. We can't wait to come back because this place is a must!“
“Best commercial breakfast in the world. I make perfect breakfasts. It’s a lot of work. Coffee… I have roasted my own beans… too much work. I struggled to find orange egg yolks… most people will not find them. Prices at the Eden Prairie restaurant are low considering quality. Note that all “Original Pancake House” restaurants are not the same. Quality varies… greatly. Eden Prairie and Edina are same owners. They get everything right.Gratuity tip: breakfast is generally less expensive than dinner and lunch… probably because it is possible to make cheap breakfast and that is usual. When breakfast is this good it requires the same gratuity standard as dinner, maybe more so because server timing is so important. I have been to the EP OHP many times with as many as 12 people. Never once unfriendly or weak service. It can be very busy and require waiting. In summer the outside service is beautiful.“
“Always delicious, always yes. I absolutely love going here! They have an online reservation system that is great and user friendly. Quick at getting your food and drinks out to you and always has a cozy feel no matter what location you're at.“
“I have been going to The Original Pancake House for almost 20 years so have eaten there dozens of times. I have never had any food that I didn't like. Their pancakes taste homemade. I do wish they would bring back the sourdough pancakes as those were by far the best. Their 4 egg omelets are as big as a plate so I always have a take home box or sister, husband, or daughter split it with me. My favorite omelet is the veggie one because they use lots of veggies. Their hot chocolate is served with real whipped cream!! On the weekend, it is best to get there by 8:30 am or plan to wait at least an hour to get a table.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menuWheelchair accessibility: No steps so should be easy to access the restaurant.“
